Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched Poshan Abhiyaan aiming to make India malnutrition free by 2022. Central govt flagship PM Modi Poshan Abhiyaan Abhiyan 2020 will cover all states, districts and towns. People can now check PM Poshan Abhiyaan List of Activities and Themes online at poshanabhiyaan.gov.in. The tagline of this PM Poshan Campaign is Sahi Poshan Desh Roshan. This programme aims to provide adequate nutrition to infants, pregnant lady and lactating mothers.
Poshan Abhiyaan is India’s flagship programme to improve nutritional outcomes for children, adolescents, pregnant women and lactating mothers. This is done by leveraging technology, a targeted approach and convergence. The central govt. wants to associate a large number of people with Poshan Abhiyaan to turn it into a mass campaign (Jan Andolan).
Till date, around 9,42,48,135 people have participated in Poshan Abhiyaan. Out of these, 1,72,56,529 are male adults while 3,09,08,019 are female adults. This mass campaign also involves 1,96,00,703 male child and 2,15,59,626 female children.

Poshan Abhiyaan by Gujarat Govt.
CM Vijay Rupani has launched state wide “Poshan Abhiyaan” in Gujarat, central government scheme aimed at making India malnutrition free. The 2 year nutrition campaign will cover all cities, towns and villages. Gujarat govt. launches Poshan Scheme on 23 January 2020 to make leader in human development. Rupani announced cash rewards of Rs. 12,000 for anganwadi, ASHA and ANM workers, who do their best eradicate malnutrition in the upcoming year.
