Chhattisgarh government has launched CG Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana 2020 for farmers. In this scheme, the state govt. will provide Rs. 30,000 per annum to farmers directly into their bank accounts through direct benefit transfer mode. Around Rs. 5700 crore will be credited into bank accounts of 19 lakh farmers (30,000 per annum) in 4 installments. The 1st installment in CG Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana Phase One is of Rs. 7500 which is credited on 21 May 2020.
Earlier, CM Bhupesh Baghel had made this announcement while presenting Rs. 95,650 cr budget on 3rd March 2020. Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana will enable farmers to raise their earn and sustain their livelihood. This scheme is launched with the spirit of Gadhbo Nava Chhattisgarh (building a new Chhattisgarh). All the farmers producing Paddy, Maize and Sugarcane would be included in the CG Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana 1st list of beneficiaries for which Rs. 1500 crore would be released for 1st phase.
The state govt. of Chhattisgarh is also focused on nutrition, betterment and extension of health services to farmers as a part of its vision of “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Niramayah (Let everyone be happy and healthy).

In order to ensure appropriate benefit to Annadata (provider of food i.e farmers), the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana phase 1 has been launched. Here is how farmers would be given Rs. 30,000 p.a under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana 2020.
CG Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana Apply Online Form
Just like other schemes for welfare of farmers, it was believed that the state govt. of Chhattisgarh will invite Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana application forms. The CG Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana Apply Online Form were to be invited at the official website of the Chhattisgarh state government or a new dedicated portal for farmers. But due to COVID-19, now there is a change in the procedure. The state govt. has already prepared a list of 19 lakh eligible farmers as CG government has their data. The govt. has allocated Rs. 5700 crore for this purpose to be credited into the eligible farmers account in 4 installments.
The 1st installment of CG Rajiv Gandhi Kisaan Nyay Yojana of Rs. 7500 has been credited into farmers account on 21 May 2020 and next installments would be released soon. This scheme is also extended to FY 2019-2020, so all the farmers would be eligible for this scheme for the previous year also.

In this scheme, the state govt. will transfer Rs. 30,000 every year (in 4 installments of Rs. 7500 each) directly into the bank accounts of farmers through DBT mode.
