Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, Government of India is launching a MUDRA Promotion Campaign from 27th September to 17th October, 2017 in different parts of the country. The aim of this program is to encourage and provide every Indian a chance to develop, progress and be prosperous.
During the campaign, different bank stalls and representative will be represent the program, where these stalls will provide loan approval facilities under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. As per the released notice, till August 13, around Rs 8.70 crore loans have been sanctioned out of which Rs 6.56 crore were given to woman Under Micro Units Development & Refinance Agency (MUDRA).
MUDRA Protsahan Abhiyaan
This Abhiyaan will be organized at 50 different location across the country in which union ministers will also be participating among others. Many successful beneficiaries will also be present there who are taking benefits under the exiting government schemes.
Those candidate who are using cashless transactions in their business by using BHIM Application will also be invited in the MUDRA Protsahan Abhiyaan. Moreover, participating people will also get more information and details regarding benefits of many schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Beema Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Beema Yojana, and others.
The location of Mudra promotions will be cities like Patna, Shimla, Chandigarh, Chennai, Srinagar, Indore, Ludhiana, Meerut Johdpur, Bhuvaneshwar, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Lucknow among others places. Interested candidate can download the complete list of location using the below link

Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency
In 2015, central government come out with a scheme MUDRA Yojana that aims to supporting the small entrepreneurs of India. Under the scheme, all Micro-finance Institutions (MFIs) which are in the business of lending to micro / small business entities would be responsible for developing and refinancing through a Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana.
They provide financial opportunities for those who are engaged in manufacturing, trading and service industry. The MUDRA Yojana would help in bring down the cost of finance from the Last Mile Financiers to the informal micro / small enterprises sector. This scheme would also help in increasing access of finance to the un-banked.
MUDRA scheme is targeted towards mainstreaming young, educated or skilled workers and entrepreneurs including women entrepreneurs.
