UP One District One Product Scheme 2021 – List of District Wise Products in Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh Government has launched One District One Product Scheme 2021. Subsequently, this scheme will provide job opportunities to 25 lakh unemployed candidates across the state. Accordingly, UP govt. will provide Rs. 25000/- to local craftsmen and entrepreneurs in the upcoming 5 years. UP govt. had launch this scheme on 24 January 2018. One District One Product Scheme will raise the GDP of the state up to 2 percent. Govt. will implement this scheme with the collaboration of several industries working in various states. Furthermore, each district will get assigned a product under Ek Zila – Ek Utpadan Scheme.

The primary objective of this scheme is to focus on a particular product and raise its quality to compete in the international market. The detailed list of products associated with each district are described below.

UP One District One Product Scheme 2021

The important features of One District One Product Scheme 2021 are as follows:-

  • ODOP scheme is essential for the inclusive development of the entire state.

AP YSR Aarogyasri Scheme 2021 List / Health Card Application Form Download

AP YSR Aarogyasri Scheme 2021 has been extended to the entire state by CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Andhra Pradesh YSR Arogyasri Scheme aims to provide quality healthcare facilities to poor people. Earlier, the scheme was named as NTR Vaidya Seva Yojana which was changed with Dr. YSR Aarogyasri Scheme 2021. This scheme is going to provide universal health coverage to lower and middle class people & its official website is ysraarogyasri.ap.gov.in. Now in the wake of Coronavirus pandemic, the state govt. has even decided to cover COVID-19 treatment under this health scheme.

AP YSR Aarogyasri Scheme 2021

So far, AP YSR Aarogyasri Scheme 2021 was being implemented in 7 districts which will now come in effect in the remaining 6 districts. The extended AP YSR Arogyasri Scheme would also cover 2,434 treatments as 234 treatments were added to the existing 2,200 treatments. In addition to this, hospitalization costs exceeding Rs. 1000 will be covered under the mediclaim scheme.

Extension of YSR Aarogyasri Scheme to All Districts in Andhra Pradesh

CM YS Jagan said that revised AP YSR Aarogyasri Scheme was first reintroduced in West Godavari on a pilot basis. After its successful implementation, the Arogyasri scheme was extended to 6 districts. Now, the scheme is being rolled out to the remaining districts of Srikakulam, East Godavari, Krishna, Nellore, Chittoor and Ananthapur districts.

As per the released notification, the AP YSR Aarogyasri Scheme would benefit over 1.42 crore families in the state. All those people having annual family income less than Rs. 5 lakh from all sources can avail this health scheme benefits. Moreover, any treatment costing over Rs 1,000 would be covered under Arogyasri.

CM YS Jagan headed a review meeting in which discussions on various reforms in healthcare policies was held. When YS Rajasekhara Reddy was the CM of Andhra Pradesh, the medical services were provided in the name of the Rajiv Aarogyasri scheme. In 2014, the then TDP government has changed this name to NTR Vaidya Seva which is now again renamed as YSR Aarogyasri Scheme.

Features of AP YSR Arogyasri Scheme

After the landslide victory in assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, the YSRCP government has decided to provide medical services to people under Dr. YSR Aarogyasri scheme. The important features and highlights of this new YSR Arogyasri Scheme 2020-21 are as follows:-

  • AP YSR Aarogyasri Scheme is providing universal health coverage to all the lower and middle class families. The official website is ysraarogyasri.ap.gov.in
  • The benefits under YSR Arogyasiri Scheme are absolutely free. The universal health card under AP YSR Aarogyasri Scheme would remain applicable for any medical expense over Rs. 1,000.
  • The YSR Aarogyasri Scheme is providing health coverage up to 2.50 lakhs for each family per year.
  • CM Jagan Mohan Reddy will personally monitor and take reports on the implementation of Universal Health Coverage scheme in AP.
  • Any individual whose annual income is less than Rs. 5 lakh can avail benefits of Dr. YSR Arogyasri Scheme. The government has said 2,434 diseases would be covered and scheme has already come into action from 1 April 2020.

The newly elected CM has suggested officers to take necessary measures to reduce the private partnership in the medical field. The scheme can be availed at hospitals in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai from November as opposed to the previous norm in which only 150 hospitals in the State were brought under AP YSR Arogyasri Scheme.

The govt. is likely to set up Y.S.R. canteens in government hospitals to serve the needs of the patients. CM Jagan Reddy asserted that the Cancer also is included under Y.S.R. Arogyasri. AP YSR Aarogyasri Scheme Beneficiaries

  • All the BPL families identified by BPL ration card issued by Civil Supplies Department are eligible.
  • All the people whose photo and name appear on Health Card / BPL (White, Annapurna and Anthyodaya Anna Yojana, RAP and TAP) ration card and suffering from identified diseases are eligible.
  • Moreover, people whose annual income is less than Rs. 5 lakh from any caste is eligible.

Serious diseases affecting Heart, Kidney, Cancer, Brain, Burns and accident cases are covered under YSR Arogyasri Scheme. A total of 1040 Surgeries / Therapies in 31 systems are covered under the Dr. YSR Arogysiri Scheme. The list of these Surgeries / Therapies is available with PHC Doctors and Network Hospitals.

In addition to this, the main focus is to improve the medical services provided at the various government hospitals. People who are living in remote areas would also be eligible for the YSR Aarogyasri Scheme 2021 in Andhra Pradesh.

AP Dr. YSR Aarogyasri Health Card Download

The government issues an Aarogyasri card and the beneficiary can use it at government and private hospitals to obtain services free of cost. In order to facilitate the effective implementation of the scheme, the State Government set up the Aarogyasri Health Care Trust under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister. The trust is administered by a Chief Executive Officer who would be an IAS officer.

Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had announced on 10 October 2019 that the AP govt. would bring the treatment of 2,200 types of diseases and procedures under Aarogyasri Scheme from April 2020 on a pilot basis in West Godavari district. After its successful implementation, now the state govt. has extended this scheme to 6 more districts and added 234 treatments totalling it to 2434 treatments.

Inclusion of COVID-19 Treatment in Dr. YSR Aarogyasri Scheme

AP govt. on 6 April 2020 has issued directives covering the Coronavirus disease in Aarogya Sri Scheme. AP govt. has issued notification stating that COVID-19 victims should be admitted to private hospitals for treatment. The state govt. has set out cost package for medical treatment of Covid-19. As per the notification, fees for coronavirus treatment is stipulated in b/w Rs. 16,000 to max. of Rs. 2.16 lakh. It is important to note that Corona cases would only be admitted to private hospitals under the supervision of govt. officials who will monitor medical procedures on timely basis.

YSR Aarogyasri Mobile App Download

The CM called upon health officials and hospital staff to ensure poor patients get better healthcare and treatment. He mentioned that “This year has put heavy pressure on the health department due to the spread of coronavirus.” AP govt. has been able to handle it efficiently and have successfully controlled the death rate. CM claimed that the previous government had ignored the Arogyasri scheme and had not paid Rs 680 crore arrears to network hospitals.

Now the AP government had cleared arrears and re-launched the scheme for the benefit of the people. CM YS Jagan said the government had included post-Covid-19 treatment too under the scheme and assured people not to worry about it. However, CM has also asked people to be cautious about the virus and take precautionary measures. The CM also unveiled the mobile application which can be downloaded to avail the scheme.

Where to Submit Snehasparsham Scheme Registration Form

The Filled in application form is to be submitted, by hand or by post, to Principal/Vice Principal, Gauhati Medical College & Hospital, Bhangagarh, Guwahati, Assam-781032. “Application for Sneha Sparsha Scheme” should be written on the envelope in Block Letters.

Eligibility Criteria for Sneha Sparsh Scheme

Only those candidates who satisfies the below mentioned eligibility criteria would be eligible for Sneha Sparsh Scheme:-

  1. Applicant who requires treatment must be a resident of Assam state.
  2. The total annual family income of the patient from all sources must not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh.
  3. Priority would be given to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) families.

The beneficiary or guardians shall have to submit an Income Certificate issued by competent authority such as the Deputy Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Officer, Circle Officer or any other authority notified by Govt from time to time to be eligible for financial assistance.

List of Documents Required along with Snehasparsh Apply Form

Here is the complete list of documents required to be submitted along with the Sneha Sparsh Scheme application form 2021:-

  • Birth certificate (Attested)
  • Income certificate (Attested) (Original to be produced at the time of submission of Application Form)
  • Residential Certificate (Attested)
  • OPD Advice Slip / Discharge Summary / Prescription

Place of Treatment for Disease Admissible under Sneha Sparsha Scheme

Treatment of some of the admissible procedures under the Scheme may be done in the Medical College Hospitals and other Hospitals inside the State, whereas treatment of some of the diseases may require referral to suitable Health Institutions outside the State. Sneha Sparsha Committee shall recommend, depending on the merit of the case, either referral of a case for super specialty treatment outside the State, or consider reimbursement of the medical expenses incurred while undergoing treatment in the Medical College Hospitals and other Hospitals of the State.

For the purpose of referral, the committee shall also recommend the designated Hospital outside the State. For both the groups, financial assistance will be offered under the Sneha Sparsha Scheme.

Permitted Procedure / Maximum Amount Admissible in Assam Sneha Sparsha Scheme

The rates notified are indicative and the actual admissible amount shall be fixed through a transparent process:-

  • Bone Marrow Transplant: Children with Leukemia (Blood Cancer) and other conditions like Thalassemia, in which Bone Marrow Transplant may be considered as a mode of treatment. The Sneha Sparsha Scheme will offer financial assistance up to Rs. 10 Lakh per case for referral of such cases to leading Hospitals outside the State equipped with facilities for such treatment.
  • Cochlear implant: Children in need of Cochlear implant will be given assistance up to Rs. 5.35 Lakh per case to BPL beneficiaries and Rs. 3.00 Lakh per case to APL beneficiaries for referral of such cases to Hospitals outside the State, if necessary.
  • Liver Transplant: For Children in need of Liver Transplant, the scheme will offer financial assistance of up to Rs. 16.00 Lakh per case to BPL beneficiaries and Rs. 10.00 Lakh per case to APL beneficiaries. Necessary arrangement shall be made for referral of such cases to leading Hospitals outside the State with state–of–the–art facilities for such treatment.
  • Kidney Transplant: Similarly children in need of Renal Treatment will be given financial assistance up to Rs. 3.00 Lakh per case to BPL beneficiaries and Rs. 2.00 Lakh per case to APL beneficiaries for referral of such cases to Hospitals outside the State, if necessary.
  • Artificial Limb: Children in need of Artificial Limbs will be provided with financial assistance of up to Rs. 1.00 Lakh for Cosmetic Limb and up to Rs. 2.50 Lakh if Motorized Artificial Limb is considered necessary.
  • Blood Cancer: For treatment of Blood Cancer in children with Chemotherapy, financial assistance up to Rs. 1.00 Lakh per case will be given.
  • Specialized Eye Surgery: For children in need of Specialized Eye Surgery like Retinal Surgery or Posterior Segment Procedure, an amount of Rs 15 Thousand will be given as assistance.
  • Tumours: Children suffering from various types of solid tumours needing costly investigations and treatment with Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy will be given financial assistance of up to Rs. 25 thousand. Children in need of cancer related surgery will be given financial assistance of up to Rs. 50 Thousand.
  • Neurological Anomalies: Children born with Neurological Anomalies like Hydrocephalus and Spina Bifida will be given assistance up to Rs. 50 Thousand for investigation, surgical treatment and rehabilitation.
  • Thalassemia: Financial assistance of Rs. 1.00 Lakh will be provided to children suffering from Thalassemia, who are not fit for Bone Marrow Transplant but require specialized treatment like splenectomy, blood transfusion and associated medicines.

Out of these, first five conditions shall be considered for referral outside the State and the rest of the procedures (Sl vi to Sl x) treatment is available in the Medical College Hospitals and other Hospitals inside the State.

How Sneha Sparsha Scheme Works

The Sneha Sparsha Committee will take care of the cases requiring high end specialized treatment. After the screening of patients and their family backgrounds, committee will submit list of beneficiaries to the NHM for funds approval. Usually, such patients visit a medical college. The database is kept by district authorities and evaluated at the respective medical college.

Once the evaluation is done, the reports are shared with the nodal office which is at the GMCH. The treatment of some of the admissible diseases under the scheme is done in the state, but those who need critical care are referred to health institutions outside the state.

Recommendation by Sneha Sparsha Scheme

The Sneha Sparsha Committee recommends, depending on the merit of the case, either referral for super specialty treatment outside the state or for considering the reimbursement of the medical expenses incurred while undergoing treatment in the state. For both groups, financial assistance is offered under Sneha Sparsha. Most cases pertain to leukaemia and thalassemia. Each case entails an expenditure of around Rs 13 lakh. Sometimes, when a patient requires special medication, the cost may shoot up to Rs 19 lakh. So, the state government is spending a huge amount.

BMT, liver and kidney transplants are the major cases, but there are other diseases covered under the scheme. The government reimburses in other cases where the cost is below Rs 1 lakh. The families are required to submit bills for evaluation by the Committee. Those above Rs 1 lakh are decided by the NHM.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on 28 October has launched two web portals – Integrated Odisha State Scholarship and Odisha Sumangal Portal. The new Odisha Sumangal Portal will help eligible students of the state avail scholarship avail benefits in a seamless and transparent manner. This portal will help people in availing incentives for inter-caste marriage.

Around 21 scholarships would be offered by 8 state departments. More than 11 lakh beneficiary students from Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes and educationally backward classes would benefit from the Integrated Odisha State Scholarship Portal.

Only through the use of technology can we provide the public with the best services at the right time with efficiency and transparency. This portal will reduce the distance between government departments and prospective students and they can apply from their homes within a specified time frame.

Professional programs of the SC and ST Department, Higher Education, Schools and Mass Education, Labor and ESI, Skills Development and Technical Education, and Agriculture Department will be administered on the portal. Scholarships will be credited directly to students’ bank accounts as the portal is liked to the state treasury.

Kalaignar Karunanidhi Breakfast Scheme 2021 has been launched by the Puducherry government. In this free food scheme, the Union Territory govt. will provide nutritious breakfast to each of the school students in morning. Around 80,000 students would benefit from the Kalaignar Karunanidhi Breakfast Yojana once schools reopen after COVID-19 lockdown. Kalaignar Karunanidhi Breakfast Scheme 2021 is launched with a view to benefit poor students studying in government schools particularly in rural areas. It may be recalled that Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Kamaraj introduced the midday meal scheme in the state and it was subsequently implemented well by M Karunanidhi. Even during French rule in Puducherry, noon meals were provided to school students from which many students were benefited. Around 80,000 students from 419 schools would benefit from the Kalaignar Karunanidhi Breakfast Scheme once schools reopen in the Union territory. Currently, around 10,000 students from 106 schools would benefit from the free food scheme. Funds to implement the nutritious food scheme have already been allocated in the budget.

Odisha Free Smartphone Yojana 2021 has been announced by the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on 17 November 2020. He interacted with the people of Swabhiman Anchal today through video conferencing. At the event he also launched the free mobile phone distribution scheme.

Odisha Chief Minister mentioned that “I am very happy to start the distribution of mobile phones in the area from today.” CM Naveen_Odisha interacts with people of Swabhiman Anchala & launches mobile phone distribution programme.

The state govt. had launched this new scheme in phases with disbursal of Android phones to around 70% of women farmers in 1st phase. Cooperation Minister Surya Narayan Patro had announced this scheme for women farmers as the previous smartphone scheme were applicable only for male farmers.

AP YSR Sunna Vaddi Panta Runalu Scheme 2021 has been launched by the Andhra Pradesh government. In this zero interest crop loan scheme, govt. will provide interest subsidy on loans for crops. This scheme is one of the part of the earlier launched YSR Sunna Vaddi Pathakam Scheme for women SHGs. In that particular scheme, the AP govt. had reimbursed the interest paid by SHGs on outstanding Bank loan up to Rs. 3 Lakhs for the FY 2019-20. This initiative reinforced the confidence of the women to take up another productive activity for their socio-economic development. AP YSR Sunna Vaddi Panta Runalu Scheme 2021

On 17 November 2020, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has released Rs. 510 crore interest subsidy for Kharif 2019 crop loans across the entire state under interest-free crop loan scheme. AP YSR Sunna Vaddi Panta Runalu Scheme is going to benefit around 14.58 lakh farmers. Andhra Pradesh govt. has also released Rs. 132 crore input subsidy for the crop losses during October 2020 due to heavy rains.

Zero Interest Crop Loan Scheme for Farmers

YSR Sunna Vaddi Panta Runalu Scheme is a zero interest crop loan scheme for farmers. In this scheme, the state govt. reimburses all the outstanding crop loans of those farmers who repay it on time. Accordingly, the AP state govt. has now released interest subsidy for crop loans taken during the Kharif 2019 season.

CM’s Announcement for Welfare of Farmers

Chief Minister YS Jagan has announced that paddy and groundnut affected due to heavy rains will be procured by the AP state government. As the Andhra Pradesh govt. has tied up with Amul, so milk procurement will commence in 3 districts namely Prakasam, Chittoor and Kadapa in the first phase from November 26. Moreover, milk procurement in other districts will be covered in the subsequent phases. For this purpose, around 9,800 bulk milk chilling units are being set up near Rythu Bharosa Kendras (RBKs).  

AP govt. has decided that crop loan insurance claims to the tune of Rs. 1,800 crore will be paid to farmers in the month of December. AP Sunna Vaddi Panta Runalu Scheme would encourage a discipline among the farmers to repay the crop loans in time so as to avail the interest subsidy. Earlier, there was no such encouragement for farmers to repay their loans on time.

YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme to Benefit Farmers

In the previously launched YSR Rythu Bharosa, around 50 lakh farmer families have benefited. CM Jagan mentioned that as against the promised Rs 12,500 per year for four years under the scheme in the manifesto, AP government is paying Rs. 13,500 per year to the farmers for five years and already the scheme was implemented twice.

CM YS Jagan even criticized the previous TDP government as farmers were neglected by the previous regime. TDP govt. not only failed in implementing farm loan waiver scheme but also failed to pay the interest subsidy for the interest-free loans. CM mentioned that “Believing that their farm loans would be waived, several farmers failed to repay their loans and with that government failing to keep its promise, the farmers suffered.” But now the state govt. has launched YSR Sunna Vaddi Panta Runalu Scheme for the welfare of farmers.

Farm Loan Interest Subsidy Dues Cleared 

For the welfare of farmers in Andhra Pradesh, farm loan interest subsidy dues of the previous government amounting to Rs. 1,180.66 crore were cleared by AP government. The state govt. was paying input subsidy for the crop loss in the same season. AP govt. has already credited Rs. 135.73 crore to the bank accounts of 1.66 lakh farmers, who suffered crop loss due to heavy rains and floods between June and September. Even on 17 November 2020, AP govt. has credited Rs. 132 crore for the losses sustained by farmers in October along with crediting on interest subsidy under YSR Sunna Vaddi Panta Runalu Scheme.

CM assured that no eligible farmer will be left out of any scheme benefits. Farmers who missed out opportunities to avail the schemes despite being eligible can now approach Rythu Bharosa Kendras to get the lapses rectified (if any). A 1 week special drive was taken up to ensure those who missed the opportunity to avail different schemes do so based on their eligibility.

Uttar Pradesh government is inviting online applications for UP Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana [कन्या सुमंगला योजना] 2020-21 at official website mksy.up.gov.in. Kanya Sumangala Yojana is a conditional cash transfer scheme to ensure social security to girl child & her development. UP Kanya Sumangala Yojana Amount (Stage Wise)

Here are the 6 types for which the online application for UP Kanya Sumangala Yojana can be made and applicants can check the amount for each stage as well:-

  1. Stage 1 – Rs. 2,000 as one time (lump sum) on birth of girl child. The girl must be born on or after 1 April 2019.
  2. Stage 2 – The girl who is not born before 1 April 2018 and has received full immunization will get Rs. 1,000 one time amount.
  3. Stage 3 – The girl child who has enrolled in standard 1 during the current academic year will be benefited with Rs. 2,000 one time amount.
  4. Stage 4 – The girl child who has enrolled in standard 6 during the current academic year will be benefited with Rs. 2,000 one time amount.
  5. Stage 5 – The girl child who has enrolled in standard 9 during the current academic year will be benefited with Rs. 3,000 one time amount.
  6. Stage 6 – The girl who has passed standard 10th or 12th and enrolled in at-least 2 year certified diploma course or graduate degree in the current academic year will get Rs. 5,000 as lump sum amount.

UP Kanya Sumangala Yojana Eligibility Criteria for Registration

Here is the eligibility criteria for UP Kanya Sumangala Yojana registration:-

  • The candidate must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh. For this residence proof needs to be produced which includes Ration Card / Aadhar Card / Voter Card / Electricity Bill / Telephone Bill.
  • The income of beneficiary family from all sources must not exceed Rs. 3 lakh per annum.
  • Maximum of 2 girls of a single family would be benefited under Kanya Sumangala Yojana.

Niramaya Scheme is an affordable health insurance scheme for Persons with Disabilities covering under National Trust Act 1999. Through this scheme, the beneficiaries can avail an insurance coverage up to 1 lakh and it would be renewed every year. Andhra Pradesh government has launched AP Jagananna Chedodu Scheme Phase 2 on 10 November 2020. Under this YSR Chedhodu scheme, the state govt. is providing financial assistance to Nayee Brahmins (Hair Dressing), Rangrej (Tailors) and Rajaka (Laundry). The AP govt. led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had launched AP Jagan Anna Chedodu Scheme Phase 1 on 10 June 2020 and now second phase has been launched. MP Prakhar Scheme 2021 – School Education Dept to Focus on 10,000 Schools

MP Prakhar Scheme 2021 is going to be launched by the School Education Department of Madhya Pradesh. The state govt. has prepared plan which is mix of New Education Policy and Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. On merger with previous plans, school education department in MP has decided to implement new plan namely Prakhar in previously selected 10,000 govt. schools.

Prakhar Scheme 2021

Under the new Prakhar Scheme, new life skill modules including skill based vocational training and English would be taught to school students. The teachings would be given in these previously shortlisted 10,000 schools across the entire Madhya Pradesh state.

Engaging of Other Departments in Prakhar Scheme

In Prakhar Scheme, the school education department has decided to engage technical education department, skill development, women and child development departments. Newly included dept’s will prepare and enforce skill development modules. This is for the first time that other departments will be engaged with the school education department.

Skill Development Courses for School Students

Technical education department will design courses and chapters to enhance liking of students for technical and engineering courses. It will prepare students for further studies in engineering and other technical courses. Several Skill Development Courses have been designed and would be implemented from the academic session 2021.

The state govt. of Madhya Pradesh is also working on opening of a separate English medium section in the shortlisted schools. As per the officials, these English medium sections will enable students to speak and write in English language which will increase the chances of students employability.

Inclusion of Provisions of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh

With the addition of provisions of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh, various modules leading to critical thinking would be added in the school curriculum. These modules includes chapters on artificial intelligence, design thinking, coding among others. Schools will be evaluated on the basis of the performance of students. Moreover, schools which are categorized as “poor” will be merged with nearby mentor school for improvement.

IT Based Learning Management System in Prakhar Scheme

The school education department has decided to introduce IT-based learning management system in the Prakhar Scheme. Accordingly, evaluation of learning outcomes of students will be done through an IT based third person valuation system. IT Based Learning Management System will be implemented from class 1st to class 12th. The deadline to implement Prakhar scheme has been set as March 2022.

The IT based learning management system will be implemented in all these 10,000 schools by August 2021 as mentioned in the Roadmap for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Subsequently, resources of bigger schools would be shared with smaller schools. In the new plan, opening of new schools and the recruitment of teachers would also be done according to requirement.

[Yogi] UP Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana 2021 Registration / Application Form for Children of Labourers

Uttar Pradesh government has launched UP Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana 2021 to educate orphans and children of labourers. This UP Labourers Children Education Scheme will enable children of workers to lead healthy life and prosperous life. People would be able to apply online by filling UP Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana 2021 Registration / Application Form at the official website (to be launched). Each eligible boy will get Rs. 1,000 while girl would get Rs. 1,200 per month. Moreover, students of class 8th, 9th, 10th will get an additional assistance of Rs. 6,000 per year.

The new UP Bal Shramik Vidya Scheme was to be launched in March-end but it was delayed due to lockdown. More than 2,000 children had received funds as a mark of official launch of this UP Bal Shramik Yojna on 12th June 2020 on the occasion of World Day Against Child Labour. Previously, the state govt. had launched a Conditional Cash Transfer project in 10 district on trial basis.

In that project, students were annually given Rs. 92,000 per head which was a success. UP Labourers Children Education Scheme would be launched to benefit more students and prevent them from working as child labourers.

Uttar Pradesh Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana 2021

Uttar Pradesh government has launched a new scheme for children of labourers namely UP Bal Shramik Vidya Yojna 2021. In this scheme, the state govt. will provide monthly financial assistance to children of workers to stop them from working as child labourers and instead focus on their studies. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had launched the scheme on 12 June 2020 by sending funds to around 2,000 people.

Labour department will provide the assistance amount of Rs. 1,000 for boys and Rs. 1,200 to girls on monthly basis to labourer’s children. Moreover, UP govt. will provide higher amount to girls to aid their studies and to keep them away from work.

Identification of Children of Labourers

While online applications for UP Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana would be invited online at a later date, the task of identification of such children of labourers has now been given to the labour department. The UP Labour Department will manage the UP Child Labourers Education Scheme and its beneficiaries. This scheme is important as UP is reportedly among those states which have high number of child labour related cases. Thus, the Yogi Adityanath led UP government has decided that cash transfer under the new schem would be conditional i.e given only when set conditions are met.

CM has also given directions that development schemes of the Centre and the state government should be implemented on one hand while providing employment to labourers and workers on the other hand. This would help in “navnirman (reconstruction)” of the entire Uttar Pradesh state.

Punjab Shat Pratishat Scheme 2021 – Mission 100% for Better School Results

Shat Pratishat Scheme 2021 has been launched by the Punjab state government. Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has launched Mission Shat Pratishat or Mission 100% on 7 November 2020. This mission 100 percent will empower schools in the state to achieve 100% results in annual exams despite the Covid crisis. CM has also announced to create 8,393 pre-primary school teachers posts and mentioned that these posts would be filled soon by the Education Department.

Punjab Shat Pratishat Scheme 2021

In order to achieve 100% school results, the state govt. of Punjab has launched Shat Pratishat Scheme 2021. CM Captain Amarinder Singh also virtually inaugurated 1,467 smart schools in the state. PB govt. also distributed 2,625 tablets to students in 372 government primary schools. While virtually launching Mission 100%, CM was connected with teachers, students and their parents from more than 4,000 schools, Ministers, MLAs, officials and non-teaching staff through WebEx, Facebook and YouTube.

Measures for Welfare of Teaching Staff

Around 14,064 contractual teachers had been regularised by Captain led government as he listed out various measures undertaken for the welfare of the teaching staff. Moreover, Self Defence training has been imparted to female physical education teachers below the age of 50 to enable them to teach karate to all girls studying in govt. schools. CM has ordered officials to draw a detailed plan for promotion of Punjabi language and revival of Patiala Central Library which was facing acute fund shortage.

Punjabi as Official Language

CM points out that Punjabi had became the official language in Patiala in 1940 after replacing Persian. He recalled Patiala’s long-standing relationship with Punjabi. Captain’s grandfather Maharaja Bhupinder Singh had made the first Punjabi typewriter in 1938. Chief Minister even observed that Punjabi had been named the official language in Canada and the UK, where a large number of Punjabis were settled, thus giving global recognition to the language.

CM stated that “Punjabi should live and grow in the hearts and minds of every Punjabi while stressing the importance of English and other foreign languages to enable students to compete globally”. Captain Amarinder Singh also mentioned that more than 3.7 lakh students had opted for English medium in government schools.

Punjab Shat Pratishat Scheme (100%) to Strengthen Digital Education Infrastructure

Punjab Shat Pratishat Scheme aims to further strengthen the digital education infrastructure in schools through e-books, EDUSAT lectures, e-content and inline classes through Zoom App. Mission 100 percent will further boost the standards in government schools which had witnessed massive improvement in quality and performance in the past 3 years. This would be done in line with the state government’s decision to curb all malpractices in board exams.

New Smart Schools for Students

Smart Schools have large contribution in increasing the educational standards in Punjab. Chief Minister mentioned that of the total 19,107 schools in the state, around 6,832 were currently Smart Schools to which another 1,467 were added on 7 November 2020.

Around 13,859 projectors would be provided to the remaining schools in order to make them Smart Schools. In addition to this, a budgetary provision of Rs. 100 crore had been made this year for digitization of schools.
