MSME Sambandh Portal Registration 2021 & login at sambandh.msme.gov.in. Giriraj Singh, Central govt. has launched MSME Sambandh Portal for Monitoring of Public Procurement Policy. MSME SAMBANDH is a Public Procurement Policy Monitoring Portal, sharing factsheets about public procurement by Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), and facilitating officer login to publish such factsheets. The govt. starts this public procurement portal for Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises (MSMEs).

MSME sector is the second most important sector for generating employment after the agricultural sector. Moreover, MSME provides around 80% of jobs in the industry with only 20% of investment. Henceforth, candidates can access the official portal sambandh.msme.gov.in

The primary objective of this portal is monitoring of the effective implementation of Public Procurement from MSEs by Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs). Central govt. is committed to provide every possible help for the growth of MSEs. Accordingly, this portal will facilitate “Ease of Doing Business” and “Make in India” initiatives of the Central government.

Need for MSME Sambandh Public Procurement Portal

  • As per the provisions of the Procurement Policy for MSME launched in 2012, Central govt. should procure products from MSEs.
  • Accordingly at the start of each year, every Central Ministry / Department / PSU must set a goal for procurement of products from the MSE Sector.
  • This will help in achieving the objective of minimum 20% procurement of the products and services from MSEs annually.

Jharkhand Farm Loan Waiver Scheme 2021 | Fasal Rahat Yojana

Jharkhand Farm Loan Waiver Scheme 2021 has been launched by the Jharkhand state government on 1 February 2021. In Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Krishi Rin Mafi Yojana, the state govt. will waive loans of farmers upto Rs. 50,000 per farmer. CM Hemant Soren has allocated a provisional sum of Rs. 2,000 crore for this Farmer Loan Waiver Scheme. The state govt. is set to replace PM Kisan Bima Yojna with the state’s own Fasal Rahat Yojana (to be launched) and has earmarked Rs. 100 crore for this scheme.

Thus the state govt. has started Jharkhand Farm Loan Waiver Scheme (Kisan Rin Mafi Yojana) but Fasal Rahat Yojna is still to be started.

Official Launch of Mukhyamantri Krishi Rin Mafi Yojana

On 1 February 2021, Jharkhand government has formally started rolling out its promised farm loan waiver scheme intended to provide financial relief to the state’s small and marginal farmers. The scheme titled, Mukhyamantri Krishi Rin Mafi Yojana, was launched by agriculture minister Badal Patralekh in the afternoon. The scheme was announced by chief minister Hemant Soren in December last year and aims to benefit nearly 9 lakh small and marginal farmers of the state. A sum of Rs 2,000 crore has been allocated for the purpose.

1st Beneficiary of Jharkhand Farm Loan Waiver Scheme 2021

Molindra Besra (45), a farmer based in Tarabahal village in Karmatand block of Jamtara, was the first beneficiary. Besra, who had sown vegetables and mustard in his fields two years ago, had availed a bank loan of Rs 91,000 but landed in a tough spot after drought damaged his crops. On 1 February 2021, the state government waived off Rs 50,000 from his loan. He will now have to pay just the remaining amount of Rs 41,000.

Jharkhand Farm Loan Waiver Scheme 2021 Inauguration occurs at Ranchi’s Ramkrishna Mission Ashram’s auditorium. Badal Patralekh said, “It is a momentous occasion and the scheme will help the farmers. One farmer was given the benefit as a token disbursement. With the financial year set to close in 50 days, we have to provide benefits to as many farmers as possible.” The objective is to disburse loan waivers worth Rs 1,000 crore in the next 60 days.

Jharkhand Kisan Karj Mafi Yojana List 2021 at Portal

As of now, farmers who have linked their Aadhaar cards with their bank accounts will get the benefits. The state govt. of Jharkhand is going to cover 9 lakh farmers. While 6 lakh farmers have their bank accounts seeded with Aadhaar cards, the identification and seeding of the remaining three lakh farmers are underway. The scheme is online and covers those farmers who had availed loans from banks till 31 March 2020.

According to the plan, details of the farmers, their loan amounts and the bank branches concerned will be uploaded on a portal developed by the National Informatics Centre. Based on the portal, deputy commissioners of all districts will be asked to identify the farmers and verify their identities and claims. The waiver will be extended to one person from a household. Once their credentials are verified, the farmers will need to deposit Re 1 as a security fee at the nearest Pragya Kendra (common service centre) or their parent branch.

Cabinet Approval of Jharkhand Kisan Karj Mafi Yojana

The Jharkhand government in a cabinet meeting on Wednesday decided to waive all agriculture and farm loans up to Rs 50,000, benefiting about 9.07 lakh farmers in the state. The government has got Rs 2,000 crore budgetary sanction for the Jharkhand Kisan Karj Mafi Yojana in the current fiscal.

Announcement of Jharkhand Krishi Wrin Maafi Yojana

Jharkhand Budget 2020-21 was presented in the state assembly at an estimated cost of Rs. 86,370 crore. The revenue and capital expenditure was estimated at Rs. 73,316 crore and Rs. 13,054 crore respectively. Around 75% of total Jharkhand population depends on agriculture and allied activities. The state govt. of Jharkhand is determined for the development of people associated with farming sector. So, the state government had announced to start Jharkhand Krishi Wrin Maafi Yojana.

Eligibility Criteria of Jharkhand Kisan Rin Mochan (Loan Maafi) Yojana

Here is the complete eligibility criteria for Jharkhand Farm Loan Waiver Scheme 2021:-

  • Candidates must be a permanent resident of Jharkhand state.
  • Applicant seeking loan waiver from Jharkhand govt. must be a farmer.
  • Only those farmers who have linked their aadhar cards with their bank accounts are eligible.
  • He must have taken loans from banks for farming and related activities only.
  • Jharkhand farm loan waiver scheme only covers those farmers who had availed loans from banks till 31 March 2020.
  • Only those farmers who have paid at least one EMI in the loan tenure period will be eligible.
  • Only one person from a household is eligible.

The farmers will have to submit their ration card and Aadhar numbers linked to banks to which the loan amount will be transferred under direct benefit transfer upon completion of KYC in concerned bank branch and verification on mobile phone. The farmers have to provide their mobile number and Re 1 token money with the application.

Jharkhand Krishi Rin Mafi Yojana Cut Off Date

Jharkhand government has decided to start a short-term farm loan waiver scheme for farmers whose income share goes in repaying farm loan. In the 1st phase of Jharkhand Krishi Rin Mafi Yojana 2021, farm loans upto Rs. 50,000 will be waived. The state govt. has earmarked Rs 2,000 crore for Jharkhand Farm Loan Waiver Scheme for farmers in the state. Around 6 lakh farmers in the state with loans upto Rs. 50k will get waivers under Jharkhand Kisan Karj Mafi Yojana.

Cut Off Date – The amount against loan sought till 31 March 2020 will be transferred to bank accounts of loanee farmers through DBT. The state govt. is considering 1 person from each family after charging them a token amount of Rs. 1.

Number of Beneficiaries for Jharkhand Kisan Karj Mafi Yojana

As per an estimate, there are around 12.98 lakh farmers in the state having bank accounts with dues worth Rs. 5,800 crore is outstanding. Out of the total accounts, around 9 lakh are active and others are inoperative. Of the active accounts, the state govt. of Jharkhand expects that 7 lakh farmers would be benefited by the Jharkhand Kisan Karj Mafi Yojana.

Aadhaar Enabling of Crop Loanee

A state-level committee has been formed under the Agriculture Minister to which Crop loanee data have been submitted. Various banks have been asked to complete Aadhaar enabling of crop loanee to get benefits of Jharkhand Farm Loan Waiver Scheme. So far 6 lakhs Aadhaar cards have been enabled out of 12 lakh loan accounts. The department is building a web portal for the purpose. Loan waiver was one of the poll planks of both the Congress and JMM ahead of the Assembly election.

Jharkhand Fasal Rahat Yojana 2021

The government is also set to replace PM Kisan Bima Yojna with the state’s own Jharkhand Fasal Rahat Yojana 2021. The state govt. has earmarked Rs 100 crore for this scheme. Both the Jharkhand Farm Loan Waiver Scheme and Fasal Rahat Yojna are set to come into effect by the end of this month. It is as per details that emerged after the fourth day of the review meetings of various departments conducted by Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

The biggest challenge remains in implementing the loan waiver. During the Assembly Question and Answer session in March, in a response to a question on loans of farmers, the government had agreed that the farmers owed Rs 7,000 crore to the banks. As per the govt officials “The biggest challenge will be selecting the criteria for loan waiver”.

Replacement of PM Fasal Bima Yojana

The replacement of the PM Fasal Bima Yojna awaits Cabinet approval. During the review process, it emerged that under the central scheme, Rs. 6,000 is paid to farmers annually in three installments. Around Rs. 1,557 crore have been released to 32 lakh registered farmers. In addition, it emerged that 13.47 lakhs Kisan credit cards have been issued. Deputy Commissioners have been asked to cover all PM KISAN beneficiaries under the credit card scheme.

A review meeting was held on 7 Dec 2020 for the Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, Minority and Backward Class Welfare Department. In one upcoming scheme, the government will select a few students every year for higher education in the United Kingdom and financial assistance will be provided, it was decided. “The institute will be paid directly. A budget of Rs 10 crore has been earmarked.

Jharkhand Unemployment Allowance Scheme 2021

The state govt. will provide unemployment allowance of Rs. 5,000 p.a (for 2 years) to all those unemployed youths who had earned their bachelor degree (graduation) in last 3 years. Moreover, govt. will also provide Rs. 7,000 to all those jobless candidates who earned their masters’ degree (post-graduation) in past 3 years. All the Jharkhand unemployment allowance scheme beneficiaries are required to be registered with employment exchange for jobs. The state government had made budgetary provision of Rs. 146 crore for Jharkhand Berojgari Bhatta Yojana.

CM Special Student Scholarship Scheme

The state govt. of Jharkhand is also going to provide universal scholarship for students enrolled in government schools from Class 1st to 12th under the Chief Minister Special Student Scholarship scheme. All those families who annual income is less than Rs. 8 lakh will now get free treatment for critical illness such as cancer and kidney and liver ailments in top-notch health institutions of the country.

CM Hemant Soren also announced to provide an additional amount of Rs. 50,000 to PM Awas Yojana beneficiaries. Another major budgetary provision was made for those people who consumes less than 300 units of power. Such people will not have to pay any electricity dues for first 100 units.

Odisha government has launched Mo Bidyut Portal at mobidyut.com as well as mobile app for electricity consumer service. The Distribution Utilities of Odisha (TPCODL, NESCO, WESCO & SOUTHCO) are going to be part of 5T programmes of Government of Odisha. At the Mo Bidyut Portal at mobidyut.com, people can obtain new electricity connection, make online bill payment and can lodge their grievances (file consumer complaints) online. Interested applicants can now apply online for new service connection within 2 days in the state.

On filling online application form at Mo Bidyut Portal at mobidyut.com or Mo Bidyut Mobile App, permanent connection will be provided up to 5KW (Single Phase). This connection will be released within 48 hours of the submission of application with payment in complete shape which involves the following things:-

  • There is no RoW issue to give connection.
  • The connection premises should be within 30 mtrs of the nearest connecting points of utility.
  • Applicant should provide valid documents.
  • There should not be any arrear against the applicant in any Utilities as in clause-17 of OERC Code – 2019.

DomesticThis category relates to supply of power to residential premises for Domestic purposes only which may include connected load for non-Domestic purposes like offices, consultation chambers and other misc. loads upto 20% of the total connected load. This category shall include consumers under A) Kutir Jyoti Programme or similar programme/schemes announced and implemented by Central/State Govt. B) Supply of power to the occupants of the flats/apartments/multi-storied buildings/ residential colonies/Registered Housing Societies/Residential Welfare Association (RWA). C) Supply of power to common facilities like water supply, common area lighting, lift, etc., in residential housing colonies/complexes and apartments, being utilized mostly for residential purpose after the completion by the developer and occupied by residents. This category shall not cover residential colonies attached to industrial establishment where power supply is drawn through the meter of the industrial establishment.
General PurposeThis category relates to supply of power to premises, which are used for other purposes not covered under any other category under this Code where the non-Domestic load exceeds 20% of the total connected load.
Specified Public PurposeThis category relates to supply of power to:-
A) Religious institutions managed by the Government/without any commercial activity,
B) Educational institutions/training institutions (including their hostels) managed by the Government,

Irrigation, Pumping and AgricultureThis category relates to supply of power for pumping of water in lift irrigation, flow irrigation and for lifting of water from wells/bore-wells, dug-wells, nallahs, streams, rivulets, rivers, exclusively for agricultural purposes in areas other than areas coming under Municipality / NAC limit having population more than 25000. This category is applicable to pumping capacity of less than 15 H.P in aggregate for a single consumer.

Official Launch of Odisha Mo Bidyut Portal

Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik on 19 October 2020 has launched the “Mo Bidyut” portal and mobile app for electricity consumer service through a video conference. It is a bilingual online electricity integrated consumer service portal developed by the energy department which has been dedicated to the public under the 5T initiative. People will now be able to avail efficient, time bound and transparent online service delivery.

Electricity is an essential service and impacts every aspect of modern life, from now onward all the electricity services will come under the Mo Sarkar. The feedback of consumers on delivery of the new service connection (NSC) will also be taken.

Beneficiaries of Mo Bidyut New Service Connection (NSC) Scheme

People will not need to run to various offices for new service connection, bill payment or grievance redressal in Odisha. The online service will benefit more than 89 lakh electricity consumers of the state. CM appealed to the consumers and general public of the state to take advantage of NSC facility to resolve their electricity service related issues in a simple, easy and quick manner.

With the launch of this user-friendly Mo Bidyut Portal, the consumers will be able to avail services pertaining to new power connection of up to 5 KW for domestic, general purpose and specified public purpose within 48 hours. Food and Civil Supplies Department has released the district wise Jharkhand Ration Card List 2021 online at aahar.jharkhand.gov.in (झारखण्ड राशन कार्ड सूची ऑनलाइन). All the citizens of Jharkhand who had previously made fresh registrations for ration card can now check their name online or by downloading the new list of eligible National Food Security Act (NFSA) beneficiaries. People can now check their name in the New Ration Card Jharkhand 2021 List, PDS Transaction Reports (District Wise), District / Block Wise Ration Cardholders Count, ercms process & ercms application status online.

Jharkhand govt. has made this ration card new list 2021 public in order to make the process of finding name of beneficiaries easier. People can now Register New Enterprise Online with Aadhar Number and Self Declaration at udyamregistration.gov.in. The Union govt. has integrated Udyam Registration process with the Systems of Income Tax and GST. The filled in enterprise details can be easily verified on the basis of PAN number or GSTIN details.

An enterprise can be registered just on the basis of Aadhaar number. Other details can be given on self-declaration basis without any requirement of uploading or submitting any paper. Thus it is a paperless exercise in true sense. The notification also mentioned that after 1 July, an MSME will be known as “Udyam” as this is more closer to the word enterprise. Accordingly, the registration process will be known Udyam Registration.

From then onward, investment in Plant and Machinery or Equipment and Turnover are the basic criteria for classification of MSMEs. The notification also clarifies that exports of goods or services or both shall be excluded while calculating the turnover of any enterprise whether micro, small or medium.

Udyam Registration Online Portal – How to Apply Online

MSME Ministry had on 1 June 2020 notified new criteria for classification of MSMEs based on investment and turnover. Now on 26 June 2020, MSME Ministry issued detailed notification giving MSMEs classification criteria. The notification also clarified about the procedure for registration and the arrangements made by the ministry for facilitation in this process. For New Entrepreneurs who are not Registered yet as MSME or those with EM-II

Important Note – Aadhaar number shall be required for applying at the Udyam Registration Online Portal. The Aadhaar number shall be of the proprietor in the case of a proprietorship firm, of the managing partner in the case of a partnership firm and of a karta in the case of a Hindu Undivided Family (HUF). In case of a Company or a Limited Liability Partnership or a Cooperative Society or a Society or a Trust, the organisation or its authorised signatory shall provide its GSTIN and PAN along with its Aadhaar number.

Migrate to Udyam (Re-Register) for those already having registration as UAM

All existing enterprises registered under UAM shall register again on the Udyam Registration Online Portal after 1st July 2020. However, the existing enterprises registered prior to 30th June 2020 shall continue to be valid only for a period upto 31st March 2021. MSME Ministry Facilitation Mechanism for Entrepreneurs

The MSME ministry has also established a strong facilitation mechanism for MSMEs in the form of Single Window Systems at the district level and regional level. This single window system of Udyam Registration Online Portal will help those entrepreneurs who are not able to file the Udyam Registration for any reason. At the district level, the District Industry Centres (DIC) have been made responsible for facilitating the entrepreneurs. Similar to this, MSME ministry’s recent initiative of Champions Control Rooms across the country have been made legally responsible for facilitating such Entrepreneurs in registration and even thereafter.

People who do not possess valid Aadhaar number can approach the Udyam Registration Online Portal for facilitation. Such people will have to carry their Aadhaar enrollment request or identity, bank photo passbook, voter ID card, passport or driving license with them. Accordingly, the Udyam Registration Online Portal will facilitate them in registering as enterprise after getting the adhaar number.

An enterprise having Udyam Registration Number (URN) shall update their information in the Udyam Registration Online Portal. It would include details of the ITR and the GST Return for the previous financial year and such other additional information as may be required on self- declaration basis. This is as per the notification in respect of updating of information and transition period.

New Definition of Micro, Medium, Small Enterprises (MSMEs)

MSME Minister vide its notification dated 26 June 2020 has notified certain criteria to classify micro, small and medium enterprises. Subsequently, notification also specified the form and procedure for filing the memorandum, for both new and existing enterprises with effect from 1st July 2020. The new definition of MSMEs will be as follows:-

  • Micro Enterprise – The enterprise where the investment in plant and machinery or equipment does not exceed Rs. 1 crore and turnover does not exceed Rs. 5 crore will be considered as Micro Enterprise.
  • Small Enterprise – The enterprise where the investment in plant and machinery or equipment does not exceed Rs. 10 crore and turnover does not exceed Rs. 50 crore will be considered as Small Enterprise.
  • Medium Enterprise – The enterprise where the investment in plant and machinery or equipment does not exceed Rs. 50 crore and turnover does not exceed Rs. 250 crore will be considered as Medium Enterprise.

Calculation of Investment

The calculation of investment in plant and machinery or equipment will be based upon the Income Tax Return (ITR) of the previous year filed under the Income Tax (IT) Act, 1961. Moreover it is also clarified that plant and machinery will include all tangible assets other than land and building & furniture and fittings.

All units with Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) listed against the same Permanent Account Number (PAN) shall be collectively considered as one enterprise. These units will be used for the computation of turnover and investment for deciding the category as micro, small or medium enterprise.

Discrepancy / Complaint Redressal Mechanism

In case of any discrepancy or complaint, the General Manager of the District Industries Centre of the concerned District shall undertake an inquiry for verification of the details of Udyam Registration submitted by the enterprise. Afterwards, the official will forward the matter with necessary remarks to the Director or Commissioner or Industry Secretary concerned of the State Government. These officers will then issue a notice to the enterprise and after giving an opportunity to present its case and based on the findings, may amend the details or recommend to the MSME Ministry for cancellation of the Udyam Registration Certificate at the Udyam Registration Online Portal.

The new system of classification, registration and facilitation of MSMEs at Udyam Registration Online Portal will be an extremely simple and yet fast-track, seamless and globally benchmarked process and a revolutionary step towards Ease of Doing Business.

LPG Gas Cylinder New Prices February 2021 have been released by the central government. The prices for 14.2 Kg non subsidized cylinders & rates of 19 Kg non-subsidy cylinders have been kept steady. People can now check the LPG Gas Cylinder New Prices (14.2 kg / 19 Kg cylinder rates) in top metro cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai & in other cities. These new LPG cylinder rates would remain applicable for the entire month of February 2021 starting from today (1 Feb 2021) onward.

People can check both the subsidized and non-subsidized domestic gas cylinder rates to know the total amount which customer will have to pay to buy cylinder in February 2021 month. Moreover, people can also calculate the subsidy amount to be transferred into their bank accounts by the government.

The prices of both the subsidized and non-subsidized LPG gas cylinders are revised by oil marketing companies (OMCs) on 1st date of each month. Central govt. only provides subsidy on the first 12 gas cylinders to every household in 1 year under the direct benefit transfer (DBT) scheme. All the additional purchases for LPG gas cylinders will have to be made at market rates.

Tamil Nadu government has launched a new Young Advocates Monthly Allowance Scheme 2021 for lawyers. In this CM Advocates Welfare Scheme, the state govt. will provide Rs. 3,000 per month as stipend to young lawyers. The Tamilnadu state govt. will start an online application / registration facility for eligible lawyers to avail the benefits of scheme. The apply online process will start soon by the TN state government in which young lawyers can apply online for this scheme.

CM Edappadi K. Palaniswami has announced a new TN Young Advocates Monthly Allowance Scheme on 28 October 2020. The young lawyers will get stipend of Rs. 3,000 per month during their first 2 years of practice. This was a long pending demand of the legal fraternity. The CM Advocate Welfare Scheme would benefit young lawyers who otherwise find it hard to meet their basic needs during their initial years of practice.

Tamil Nadu Advocates Monthly Allowance Scheme Eligibility

All those advocates who are practicing in Tamil Nadu, registered with Tamilnadu Bar Council and are also in voters list of the state will be able to apply for CM Young Advocates Monthly Allowance Scheme. IT department will release the Chief Minister Young Lawyers Stipend Scheme online application form on the law department’s website.

The timely help to the young lawyers will go to long way in ensuring that the standards of advocates stays high. As a directive result, Tamilnadu will be able to produce great Advocates and eminent jurists in future. As per the Tamil Nadu Bar Council, around 1500 to 2000 young advocates would be benefited every year from this Tamil Nadu Young Advocates Stipend Scheme for lawyers.

Bar Council had earlier submitted a memorandum before the CM Edappadi K Palaniswami urging him to grant monthly stipend of Rs. 5,000 per month to the newly enrolled junior lawyers. The Bar Council was demanding such a scheme from the Tamil Nadu government to provide monthly allowance for over 10 years.

Importance of Young Lawyers Stipend Scheme

Lawyers play an important role in implementing rule of law in the society. Every young lawyer, after enrollment with the state bar council, has to undergo training under a senior advocate for at least 2 to 3 years. Particularly, for young advocates from rural parts of the state, it takes at least 3 to 4 years to set up individual practice. Most such lawyers find it hard to even meet their daily expenses during the incubation period and some are even compelled to switch to other profession. Therefore, in a bid to help such young lawyers, the Young Lawyers Monthly Stipend Scheme has been sanctioned.

On behalf of the entire legal fraternity, The Bar Council of Tamilnadu and Puducherry thanked CM and Law Minister to sanction the stipend to young Advocates. The announcement of TN Young Advocates Monthly Allowance Scheme is timely and would help young lawyers who have completely lost their livelihood due to Covid-19 lockdown.

Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami has launched a new scheme to provide Rs. 3,000 per month as assistance for young law graduates. This scheme is for those who hail from economically poor backgrounds during the initial years of their careers. At a simple function held at the secretariat, 9 young law graduates received this assistance from the Chief Minister. This assistance will be given for two years.  

Just after passing out of their colleges, Young advocates have to clear the All India Bar Examination to get themselves permanent registration in the Bar Council. After that, lawyers have to practice as junior advocates for two to three years.  For the law students hailing from economically poor backgrounds in rural areas, it takes at least three or four years to become full-fledged advocates. 

During this period, many are under poverty, and a few move to some other professions unable to stabilise themselves as advocates.  Now, this special scheme will help those advocates. When the scheme was announced in July, the State Bar Council had announced that only law graduates from government law colleges with less than Rs.2.5 lakh annual income and aged under 30 would be eligible for this stipend. The beneficiaries should submit a proof of practice, endorsed by a senior advocate, every six months.

AP Jagananna Palle Velugu Scheme 2021 : 4 Lakh LED Street Lights + Complaint Monitoring System (CMS)

Andhra Pradesh government has launched a new AP Jagananna Palle Velugu Scheme 2021. In this scheme, the state govt. will install 4 lakh LED street lights in 2,000 habitations across the state. These 2k selected areas does not have street lights as these are not yet covered under any present project. The goals of environment protection, reduction of dark sports in AP state and ensuring women safety to be achieved through this scheme. AP cabinet committee has also decided to put up a new Complaint Monitoring System.

AP Street Light Installation Scheme as well as new Complaint Management System will ensure security in remote areas. The LED Street Lights CMS will involve village secretaries to address complaints on non-functional street lights. Around 7,000 energy assistants will be deputed to address such complaints. Moreover, the services of 2.7 lakh village volunteers will also be utilized in identifying and reporting on malfunctioning street lights.

The CMS will also have 1 executive at the assembly constituency level, 1 at the revenue division level and 1 at the district level to monitor and supervise repair works of street lights.

4 Lakh More LED Street Lights Installation in Andhra Pradesh

The AP state govt. has decided to install 4 lakh more LED streetlights in the Andhra Pradesh state. These street lights would be installed in addition to the existing 25 lakh street lights. In AP Jagananna Palle Velugu Scheme 2021, govt. will install 4 lakh street lights in 2,000 rural habitations across various districts that were not covered under any project. Here are the important benefits of installing LED street lights in across 2,000 places in the Andhra Pradesh state under AP Jagananna Palle Velugu Scheme 2021:-

  • LED street lights depreciate at a much slower rate than other alternatives.
  • These LED lights does not have filaments, so they do not burn out quickly and have incredibly long lives.

Complaint Monitoring System (CMS) for Streetlights

AP govt. has also decided to entrust the responsibility of Complaint Monitoring System (CMS) of the streetlights to village secretariats. It is because 80% of the public representatives expressed dissatisfaction over the repair and maintenance of the lights. The decision was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy on 30 June 2020.

As per the statement, the dept. officials said that 90% of public representatives responded positively to the illumination quality of LED streetlights installed by Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL). But 80% of public representatives were not satisfied with the existing repairs and maintenance. In view of this, the AP state govt. has decided to improve the Complaint Monitoring System of LED streetlights with an objective to bring down complaints.

Subsequently, 7,000 energy assistants (junior linemen) from village secretariats and 2.6 lakh village volunteers will be roped in this CMS initiative. This would be done in coordination with AP State Energy Efficiency Development Corporation (APSEEDCO) and Discoms to improve the grievance redressal system. AP govt. aims to illuminate every village in the state under the LED streetlight programme.

Chhattisgarh govt. has started Dr. Khubchand Baghel Swasthya Sahayata Yojana 2021 and its official website is dkbssy.cg.nic.in. Under this new integrated health scheme, govt. will subsume previous healthcare schemes to provide better & quality medical facilities to people. The other name of scheme is CG Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata Yojana and would be implemented in a trust based model.

CG CM Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata Yojana will provide 4 times more medical coverage to people than Ayushman Bharat Scheme. All the Antyodaya / priority ration card holder families would be able to get cashless treatment upto Rs. 5 lakh in all govt. / private institutions.

Even the other ration card holders families to get treatment upto Rs. 50,000 per year. This CG Integrated Health Scheme will benefit over 56 lakh families in the state.

Help for Diseases in Dr. Khoobchand Baghel Swasthya Sahayata Yojana

Assistance under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme will be provided only after getting treatment in the state and outside the registered hospital. The following hospitals will be registered under the scheme:-

  • Liver Transplant
  • Kidney Transplant
  • Lung Transplant
  • Heart and lung transplant
  • Heart disease
  • Haemophilia (only with acute complications requiring intensive care) and Factor-8 and 9 (in case of surgery / trauma / acute bleeding) (whose treatment is not available in other state schemes or the amount is exhausted)
  • Cancer (whose treatment is not available in other state schemes or the amount has expired)
  • Aplastic anemia (whose treatment is not available in other state schemes or the amount has been exhausted)
  • Cochlear implant (for children up to 7 years old) (only for treatment in government hospital)
  • Acid attacks (cosmetic procedures) (only for treatment in government hospital)
  • Recommendation by special committee will be mandatory for applications received for various types of rare diseases (whose treatment is not available in other schemes of the state) and treatment.

The list of above diseases can be amended by the state government with the recommendation of the above technical committee as per requirement. Referral from government medical college hospitals will be mandatory for any of the medical services registered in the above list. 

The above services can also be reserved for government entities from time to time by the state nodal agency. In case of transplantation, the availability of all the prescribed No Objection / Certificates / Documents will be compulsory as per the instructions of Hon’ble Supreme Court and other rules of the government in respect of transplantation. People can now check the cashless assistance for different categories of ration card holders.

CG Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata Yojana Assistance

The assistance amount under Dr Khubchand Baghel Health Assistance Scheme is given below:-

  1. Priority and Antyoday (people under below poverty line BPL) ration cards will get health & medical facilities upto Rs. 5 lakh per annum.
  2. People covered under Ayushman Bharat – PM Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) to get health and medical facilities upto Rs. 5 lakh per annum.
  3. All the other ration card holder families will get treatment upto Rs. 50,000 per year under Dr. Khubchand Baghel Health Assistance Scheme.

CG Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata Yojana will increase the beneficiary family count from earlier 42 lakh to 56 lakh having health treatment coverage up to Rs 5 lakh in the state. After the launch of this scheme, Chhattisgarh is the only state in the country covering almost 90% families with the health benefit coverage up to Rs 5 lakh per annum. All the ration card holder families will be able to avail cashless treatment at any government and registered private hospitals.

The primary objective is to minimize usage of paper and to ease down the marriage registry procedures including process of getting marriage certificates. Accordingly, this WB Marriage Registration Portal will provide information on the documents required for marriage.

WB govt. has launched an e-registry system to ease down the process of marriage registration. For this reason, govt. is providing training to the Marriage Registrars to handle the online applications made through the new portal / online process. Moreover, this new system will reduce the marriage registration fees in West Bengal. This procedure will cost less than Rs. 1000 (present rate) for marriage registry in West Bengal.

UP Old Age Pension Scheme Amount (Rs. 500) for Senior Citizens

Uttar Pradesh cabinet has raised the pension amount for elderly people under the UP Old Age Pension Scheme. Under this Vridha Pension Scheme, all the senior citizens would now get Rs. 500 instead of Rs. 400. Over 4.5 million elder ones to benefit from UP Old Age Pension Yojana. UP govt. vridhavastha pension yojana will provide financial assistance to the poor households.

The UP state cabinet chaired by CM Yogi Adityanath has accepted this proposal of raising pension amount of older citizens by Rs. 100. To avail the pension benefits under UP Old Age Pension Scheme, candidates must not be a beneficiary of UP Widow Pension Scheme, UP Viklang Pension Scheme or other schemes.

UP Old Age Pension Scheme Amount Raised by Rs. 100

The new pension amount under the UP Old Age Pension Scheme to be given to the senior citizens is as follows:-

  • All the elder people in the age group of 60 to 79 years will now get Rs. 500 as monthly pension under the UP Old Age Pension Scheme. This amount was previously Rs. 400 under the UP Vridha Pension Yojana. UP Cabinet has approved the proposal to raise the pension amount for this category of senior citizens by Rs. 100. Over 45 lakh people of the state would get benefited.
  • All the people above the age of 80 years are already get Rs. 500 per month as pension under the UP Vridhavastha Pension Yojana.

UP Plans New Old Age Pension Scheme – Rs. 800 per Month to All Senior Citizens

Uttar Pradesh govt. is going to launch a populist UP New Old Age Pension Scheme 2021 for All Senior Citizens. Under this scheme, Yogi Sarkar will provide Rs. 800 as monthly pension to around 50 lakh people. This scheme is just like Samajwadi Pension Yojana (Rs. 750 per month) but with an increased coverage. This new pension scheme will also include people having 2 wheeler vehicles and Pucca Ghar. UP govt. will launch this new scheme between July 2021 to August 2021.

The state govt. has loosened the restrictions this time so that more people becomes eligible to avail this scheme benefits. Govt. has prepared the entire draft of this scheme and will launch this scheme very soon with an increased amount of Rs. 50. People can also avail the benefits of other social security schemes like Vidhwa Pension Yojana, Viklang Pension Yojana in UP.

All the candidates living Below the Poverty Line having income as specified in the Central govt. norms will remain eligible to apply for this scheme. This new scheme with relaxed rules and regulations will be announced near the Independence Day (15 August 2021).

UP New Vridhavastha Pension Yojana Application Form for Senior Citizens

The state govt. will invite online applications for the New Old Age Pension Scheme 2021 as invited previously for Samajwadi Pension Scheme. This could be done through the UP Govt.
