[Rs. 5 Meal] Maa Scheme 2021 West Bengal – WB Mamata Community Kitchens (Didir Rannaghar)

West Bengal Maa Scheme 2021: WB Mamata Kitchen Scheme 2021 has been launched by the West Bengal government. The state govt. aims to supports lakhs of migrant workers who suffered massive financial setback due to job losses because of COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. All those migrants will get meals at nominal costs in the Didir Rannaghar (Mamata’s Kitchen) Scheme.

CM Mamata Banerjee in WB Budget 2021 announced setting up of community kitchens named “Maa“. Maa Scheme aims to provide food at Rs. 5 to the state’s poor people and earmarked Rs. 100 crore for it. These kitchens will provide food at a nominal price, but did not specify the amount a beneficiary will have to pay for each meal.

WB Mamata Community Kitchens (Didir Rannaghar) Initiative

Mamata Kitchen or Didir Rannaghar Scheme is a community kitchen scheme launched by the West Bengal government. Each meal to be provided to people will be at nominal costs. The Maa community kitchens will be functional every day between 11 am to 3 pm. The menu will change on daily basis and will comprise of mostly vegetarian and will include rice, dal (pulses), mix vegetable, ‘shukto’ (vegetable stew) soyabean, ‘khichdi’ (cooked rice and lentils), papad.

Implementation of Mamata’s Maa Scheme

As West Bengal prepares itself for upcoming assembly elections 2021 amid social distancing, Mamata’s Maa Community Kitchen Scheme would be a boon for poor people. Didir Rannaghar Kitchen initiative by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is launched in association with various party clubs. The initiative will bring smiles on lakhs of people who are struggling to find even one square meal a day.

These Mamata kitchens have already started functioning in various parts of West Bengal state. It includes Howrah district, Belgachhia (in Kolkata) and Barrackpore in North 24-Parganas district. The state govt. also plans to run similar kitchens across the state for the duration of the festive season.

Major Beneficiaries of WB Maa Scheme

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, WB govt. has decided to stand beside the people, primarily those belonging to the underprivileged sections/unorganised sectors. These poor people have suffered a lot due to the pandemic situation. The state govt. is hopeful that “Didir Rannaghar” will benefit such people from economically weaker sections and workers immensely.

New Clothes to Poor People

Apart from Cooked Food in Mamata Kitchen Scheme, the state govt. is planning to donate clothes to poor people so they can wear new clothes during the festive seasons. WB Didir Rannaghar is a pledge undertaken by the TMC led state govt. to support those who are battling to feed their family members due to job loss.

Hygiene Measures in Mamata’s Kitchen Scheme

A special attention will be paid to hygiene in these Mamata kitchens. The state govt. will popularize Didir Rannaghar Scheme to make them popular and several posters with public hygiene messages will be put up at block level. WB govt. has already started nearly 700 Sramojibi canteen (community kitchen) across the state. The party has also also initiated 50 health clinics and safe houses for the poor who cannot afford expensive health care facilities.

Rajasthan govt. has launched a new website Apna Khata (apnakhata.raj.nic.in) where people can easily find their land records online. All the citizens can download the Jamabandi NAKAL (Copy) of Records of Rights (ROR) according to the Land Revenue Act, Rajasthan. This will eliminate the need to make unnecessary visits to Patwari as people can just select their district on Naksha (Map) and enter their account number or Khasra number to get Bhulekh. Apna Khata – Terms Used in Land Records

The following terms are helpful in generating Jamabandi Nakal of Land Records:-

  • NAKAL – Duplicate / Copy of the original Land Records.
  • Jamabandi – This term usually refers to Land Records or Records of Rights (ROR) of a village. Jamabandi Register includes the name of land owner, area, share of owners and other rights. Jamabandi also includes cultivation, rent, revenue and other cess payable on land. This term is usually used in the northern states of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh for land records.
  • Khasra – This is an “Agriculture related Legal Document” in any village containing the details of the piece of agricultural land and crops grown on it. This also contains the information of land belts in rural areas. Simply, Khasra comprises of the details of farm area, owner, labourers working on that land, crops grown on that land, soil type and plantation.
  • Khatauni – If we prepare a list of the plots / land owned by head of the family / single family using Khasras, then it is called Khatauni.
  • Bhulekh / Bhu-Abhilekh – It refers to the Online Land Record Software for Maintenance of Land Records.
  • Bhu Naksha – It generally refers to the “Map” that contains all the information about land.

How to Apply Online for TN Govt Marriage Assistance Schemes 2021

In most communities, it is a customary cultural requirement for a girl to wear “Thirumangalyam” made of gold during marriage. The parents celebrate the marriage function according to their customs and cultural backgrounds. However, parents from economically weaker sections are not able to cope with the burden of expenses towards the marriage of their daughters.

  • Bride should have studied up to VStd in case of Scheduled Tribe.

  • Degree Holders from regular colleges, Distance Education / Government recognized Open University are eligible.
  • Diploma holders should have the diploma certificate from Institutions recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu.

  • Annual Income Does Not exceeding Rs . 72,000/- for the family

Objectives of the Scheme :

To abolish caste and community feelings based on brith and wiping out discrimination by encouraging inter – caste marriage.

The following two categories of inter-caste marriages can avail benefits:-

Category I :

The assistance is provided provided to newly married couples of whom one spouse should be from Scheduled caste/Scheduld tribe and the other from a different community..

Category II :

The assistance is provided to a newly married couple of whom one spouse is from other community (forward community) and the other from the Back ward Class /Most Backward Class Community.

Sathiyavani Muthu Ammaiyar Ninaivu Free Supply of Sewing Machine Scheme

Objectives of the Scheme :

Sewing Mechines are supplied free of cost with a view to increase the self employment potential for rehabilitation of destitute women/widows, deserted wives, differently Abled men and women, Socially affected women and women from economically weaker sections.

Girl Child Protection Scheme

Promoting education of girl children, eradicating female infanticide, discouraging the preference for male child,promoting the small family norm promoting the welfare of girl children in poor families and to raise the status of girl Children.

Assistance Provided :

Scheme 1 :

Rs 50,000/- Fixed Deposit in the name of girl child for the family which has only one girl child.( Interest amount shall be given annually to the girl child from the sixth year of the deposit )

Scheme 2 :

Rs.25000/- Fixed Deposit for each girl child where the family has two girl children only.( Interest amount shall be given annually to the girl child from the sixth year of the deposit )

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Either of the parents should have undergone sterilization within 35 years of age
  • Family should have only one/two female children
  • No male child in their family and In future no male child should be adopted.
  • The parents/grand parents should be a domicile of tamilnadu for a period pf 10 years at the time of submitting the application.

Scheme I :

  • Application should be made before the girl child completed 3 Years of age.

Scheme II :

  • Application should be made before the second girl child completes 3 Years of age.
  • Annual Income Does Not exceeding Rs . 72,000/- for the family

  • Birth Certificate for the Girl Children (Corporation /Taluk office /Municipality office)
  • Parents age proof
  • Sterilization certificate

Haryana Government is going to start a new pension scheme for citizens suffering from cancer, HIV and kidney disease in the state. In this Haryana Kidney / Cancer Patients New Pension Scheme 2021, the state govt. will provide Rs. 2250 per month for their treatment. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had given his approval for Haryana New Patients Pension Scheme 2021. To avail benefits, candidates will have to apply by filling online application / registration form at pension.socialjusticehry.gov.in

The state govt. of Haryana is contemplating to include cancer patients under the ambit of its social security pension scheme on the lines of old age pension. Moreover, the data of patients afflicted with serious kidney ailments including those who have undergone transplant was also gathered.

The state govt. of Haryana had earlier given its in-principle approval to Haryana Kidney / HIV / Cancer Patients pension scheme on 31 May 2020. Social Justice and Empowerment dept. will be nodal agency to implement the new pension scheme for citizens suffering from cancer and kidney disease in the state. The financial assistance under Haryana New Patients Pension Scheme 2021 to patients will prove to be very valuable and is a very commendable step.

Apply Online Form for New Kidney / HIV / Cancer Patients Pension Scheme

Just like other social security scheme like old age pension, widow pension, disabled pension, the state govt. may invite online application form for this scheme. The Haryana Govt. New Pension Scheme apply online form for Kidney / Cancer patients may be invited through the official website of pension.socialjusticehry.gov.in.

The application / registration process has not been started yet. As soon as the apply online process for New Kidney / Cancer Patients Pension Scheme 2021 gets started, we will update it here.

Eligibility Criteria

All the applicants must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to become eligible for new Kidney / HIV / Cancer patients pension scheme in Haryana:-

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
  • He / she must be suffering from cancer / kidney serious ailments.
  • The applicant must be above 18 years of age. For minors, assistance amount would be transferred in the bank accounts of their parents / guardians.
  • His/her income from all sources together with that of his/her spouse does not exceed Rs. 2,00,000 per annum.

Notwithstanding the above, any person receiving pension from any Government or Local/ Statutory Body or any organization substantially financed by any Government or Local/ Statutory Body will not be eligible to receive allowance under the scheme.

Beneficiaries of Haryana Kidney / Cancer / HIV Patients Pension Scheme

About 25,000 beneficiaries suffering from cancer, serious kidney ailments and HIV will get the benefit of Haryana Kidney / HIV / Cancer Patients Pension Scheme. A status report has been sought from the chief medical officers of all the districts for this. The pension scheme will be implemented as soon as the report is submitted. The scheme would have been implemented last year itself, but due to Covid-19, it got delayed and it will be implemented soon. At present, over 28 lakh beneficiaries get social security pension of Rs. 2,250 per month.

Other Public Welfare Initiatives by Haryana State Govt.

Haryana govt. has taken a lead in implementing the central govt’s concept of One Nation, One Ration Card. Now all the migrant labourers coming to Haryana from other states will not require a separate ration card. Instead, migrant workers will be able to get their ration here through the online system with the same ration card. This scheme will be started for the migrants from all the states where ration card has been linked online with Aadhaar card.

Through this 1 Nation 1 Ration Card Scheme, all the eligible beneficiaries of National Food Security Act (NFSA) will be able to take their share of food grains from any fair price shop anywhere in the country using the same ration card. Haryana has made all kinds of preparations in this regard and now ration will be distributed to the beneficiaries under this portability system soon.

This new system will prove to be very beneficial for the migrants. With this, migrants will not have to get a new ration card after moving to another state, and there will be more transparency in the whole system. The central and state governments are determined to raise the standard of living of persons standing on the lowest rung.

[Update] India National Population Register (NPR) Form 2021 / Documents List Fake

Central govt. on 24 December 2019 has cleared a scheme for updating the National Population Register at a cost of Rs. 3,900 crore. Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said that form or schedule to collect data for NPR update has not been finalized yet. Home Minister Amit Shah said that there is no link between NPR and National Register of Citizens (NRC). The images of National Population Register (NPR) Form 2021 circulating on social media are fake.

NPR Form 2021 seeking details like place of birth of father and mother is of bogus nature as schedule or forms preparation are still in initial stages. Earlier Congress leader Manish Tewari tweeted an image of NPR saying that “NPR will be raw Data of NRC” and elements of NRC are smuggled into NPR.

Amit Shah clarifies that NPR is register of population, NRC is register of citizens. He asks if both NPR & NRC are some, that how it is relevant to ask whether my parents were born in India or aborad.

National Population Register (NPR) Form 2021 Fake

Union Cabinet has approved National Population Register (NPR) update for the financial year 2021. The NPR exercise was firstly conducted in 2010 and subsequently updated in 2015.

NPR Pretest Form Used for Trials Only

The NPR pretest form was used to collect data from 30 lakh people in September 2019 for National Population Register on trial basis. This NPR Form had additional columns like place of birth of father and mother, last place of residence, Aadhaar number, voter ID card number, mobile phone number and driving licence number. The pretest form circulating on social media was used during trial stage of NPR and final schedule is prepared after taking feedback from respondents.

Before carrying out the final exercise next year, the central govt. wants to provide training to enumerators and also seek feedback from those surveyed. On the basis of these feedback, govt. will decide the contents of final NPR Form. As Minister of State for Home, Ajay Maken earlier supervised the NPR data collection process in 2010 who now said that NPR 2021 is totally different. The new form adds Date & Place of Birth of Parents, Last Place of Residence, Aadhaar ID, Driving License No, Voter ID, Mobile No which is similar to NRC.

No Supporting Documents in National Population Register (NPR) 2021

NPR, a pan India exercise excluding Assam will seek information regarding date and place of birth of usual resident mother and father. It will also take info. like Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License and Voter ID. A usual resident is defined as a person who has resided in an area for past 6 months or more or who intends to reside in that area for next 6 months.

Data will be recorded as declared by respondent and no proof or supporting documents would be sought. Sharing of Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License and Voter ID will be made voluntary and PAN details won’t be sought. No bio-metrics would be collected during NPR though the same can be sourced from UIDAI if needed on the basis of Aadhaar. NPR was last prepared in 2010 along with Census 2011 followed by updation in 2015.

National Population Register Background

The Citizenship Rules of 2003 clearly states that central govt. by means of issuing an order can decide date to prepare NPR. The Union govt. can even provide for creation of NRC which would flow from data gathered in NPR. As per the rules, a person’s citizenship status would be decided by local officials that whether a person figures in NRC or not. No new law or rules are needed to conduct this exercise across the entire nation. Cabinet committee has approved Rs. 3941.35 cr to update NPR which would be collated along with House Listing and Housing Census of decennial exercise from April to September 2020. Decennial signifies a process which occurs in every 10 years duration.

Central govt. has given information to Parliament on multiple occasions since 2014 about National Register of Indian Citizens (NRIC). NRC would be created on the basis of information collected under NPR by verification of citizenship status of all individuals. Previously, Sh. Rajnath Singh had given directions to take NPR project to its logical conclusion which is creation of NRIC. NPR was created to extend various beneficiary schemes to people as the data collected under the census exercise could not be shared with states or any other government agency.

PM Modi vs Opposition on NPR & NRC

PM Narendra Modi claims that there is no discussion held on NRC till date and NPR is a separate exercise for which govt. has approved budget. Opposition parties slams PM Modi’s statement and alleges that NPR is the first step to NRC. Home Minister Amit Shah claims that information obtained through NPR could not be used for NRC and that the Union Cabinet had not ever discussed NRC. He also said that there is no need to create background for NRC as it is ought to be done in India as promised in BJP manifesto.

After the passing of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) by Indian Parliament on 11 December 2019, there were widespread protests against CAA. These protests against CAA and NRC resulted in killing of more than 20 people in Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Karnataka. The CAA allows citizenship on the basis of religion to undocumented non-Muslim communities from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh who entered India on or before 31 December 2014.

There are apprehensions and fear among Muslims that CAA followed by a nationwide NRC would benefit non-Muslims excluded from NRC exercise. It is inferred by some people that people from all communities would get citizenship while Muslims would be expelled from the country after NRC exercise. However, central govt. clarifies that CAA and NRC are not linked to each other.

सक्षम युवा योजना – पात्रता / Eligibility for Saksham Yuva Yojana

सक्षम युवा योजना के लिए पात्रता की कुछ मुख्य शर्तें इस प्रकार हैं।

  • आवेदक हरियाणा का स्थायी निवासी होना चाहिए।
  • आवेदक हरियाणा एम्प्लोयेमेंट एक्स्चेंज में रजिस्टर होना चाहिए। अगर नहीं है तो पहले https://hrex.gov.in पर जाकर अपना रजिस्ट्रेशन नंबर प्राप्त करें।
  • ग्रेजुएट और पोस्ट-ग्रेजुएट आवेदक के पास स्नातकोत्तर / स्नातक डिग्री केवल पंजाबी विश्वविद्यालय, पटियाला और यूटी चंडीगढ़ या एनसीटी दिल्ली या हरियाणा में किसी भी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालयों से नियमित पाठ्यक्रम के माध्यम से प्राप्त की जानी चाहिए। वे आवेदक जिन्होंने पत्राचार पाठ्यक्रम के माध्यम से अपनी डिग्री प्राप्त की है और योजना के तहत लाभ ले रहे हैं, वे भी लाभ प्राप्त करना जारी रखेंगे।
  • आवेदक की किसी भी मान्यता प्राप्त स्कूल से नियमित रूप से 10 + 2 परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण होनी चाहिए, जो बोर्ड ऑफ स्कूल एजुकेशन हरियाणा, भिवानी, केंद्रीय विद्यालय शिक्षा बोर्ड (CBSE) और भारतीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (ICSE) बोर्ड से होनी चाहिए।
  • आवेदक की आयु स्नातक / स्नातकोत्तर के लिए 21 से 35 वर्ष और 10 + 2 के लिए 18 से 35 वर्ष के बीच होनी चाहिए।
  • पत्राचार / नेशनल ओपन स्कूल के माध्यम से 10 + 2 परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण आवेदक को पात्र नहीं माना जाएगा।
  • आवेदक किसी भी रेगुलर कोर्स का फुल टाइम छात्र नहीं होना चाहिए।
  • आवेदक सरकारी सेवा से बर्खास्त कर्मचारी नहीं होना चाहिए।
  • आवेदक किसी भी प्रकार के रोजगार में नहीं होना चाहिए, सार्वजनिक / निजी क्षेत्र / अर्ध-सरकारी या स्व-रोजगार।
  • आवेदक की सभी स्रोतों से वार्षिक पारिवारिक आय रुपए तीन लाख (रु 3 लाख) से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए।
  • मानदेय का भुगतान अधिकतम 03 वर्ष (36 महीने) या 35 वर्ष की आयु के लिए किया जाएगा, जो भी पहले हो। 3 साल (36 महीने) की अवधि मानदेय असाइनमेंट के आवंटन की तारीख से शुरू होगी और 35 साल की उम्र 35 साल पूरा होने की सही तारीख होगी।

सक्षम योजना के तहत निम्नलिखित प्रकार के 3 लाभ सक्षम युवाओं को दिये जाएँगे:-

बेरोजगारी भत्ता: पोस्ट-ग्रेजुएट को 3000 रुपए प्रतिमाह, ग्रेजुएट को 1500 रुपए प्रतिमाह और 10+2 आवेदकों को 900 रुपए प्रति माह।

मानदेय वेतन: सभी 10+2, ग्रेजुएट और पोस्ट-ग्रेजुएट आवेदकों को 100 घंटे के मानदेय काम के एवज में 6000 रुपए प्रति माह।

QRMP Scheme 2021 for GST Taxpayers – Quarterly Return Filing & Monthly Payment of Taxes

Central Govt has launched QRMP scheme 2021 for GST Taxpayers. QRMP stands for Quarterly Return Filing & Monthly Payment of Taxes. From 1 January, people have to file only 4 GSTR-3B returns instead of 12. As per the Department of revenue (DoR) sources, it is expected that the scheme would impact 9.4 million taxpayers. These number of tax payers constitute approx. 92% of the total tax base of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).

QRMP Scheme 2021 for GST Taxpayers

QRMP Scheme for GST Taxpayers comes in a bid to ease the return filing experience of Goods and Service Tax (GST) taxpayers. Quarterly Return Filing and Monthly Payment of Taxes Scheme has come into effect from 1 January 2021. Around 9.4 million taxpayers (92% of the total tax base of GST) having an annual aggregate turnover (AATO) of up to Rs. 5 crore are covered in this scheme.

Returns in Quarterly Return Monthly Payment Scheme 2021

With the introduction of the QRMP scheme, small taxpayers would need to file only 8 returns. It includes 4 GSTR-3B (existing 12 GSTR-3B) and 4 GSTR-1 (existing 4 GSTR-1) returns. These 8 returns are far simpler than existing requirement of 16 returns in a financial year. The new scheme would also significantly reduce taxpayers professional expenses on return filing. This is because the GST taxpayers would have to file just half the number of returns as against the current requirement of 16.

Portal for Quarterly Return Filing & Monthly Payment of Taxes Scheme

The QRMP scheme is available on the common GST portal https://www.gst.gov.in/ with the facility to opt-in and opt-out and opt-in again, as per a taxpayer’s wishes. The Quarterly Return Monthly Payment Scheme has brought in the concept of providing input tax credit (ITC) only on reported invoices. This QRMP Scheme for GST Taxpayers will put a curb on the menace of fake invoice frauds.

Features of QRMP Scheme 2021 for GST Tax Payers

QRMP scheme has the optional feature of Invoice Filing Facility. The new IFF feature will mitigate the business-related hardships of the small and medium taxpayers. Under the IFF, taxpayers who opt to file their returns quarterly would be able to upload and file such invoices even in the first and second month of the quarter for which there is a demand from the recipients.

The taxpayers won’t need to upload and file all the invoices of the month. Only those invoices, which are required to be filed in IFF as per the recipients’ demands, are to be uploaded. The remaining invoices of the first and second months can be uploaded in the quarterly GSTR-1 return.

The QRMP scheme is based on the existing return system with suitable modifications in a bid to give much-needed flexibility to the small and medium enterprises with regards to GST compliance. It was approved in principle by the GST Council in its 42nd meeting on 5 October 2020.

Frequently Asked Questions about QRMP Scheme

What is QRMP scheme and what are its benefits

Quarterly Return, Monthly Payment of Taxes (QRMP) Scheme is a scheme to simplify compliance for small taxpayers. Under this scheme, taxpayers having an aggregate turnover at PAN level up to Rs. 5 crore can opt for quarterly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filing. Payment can be made in the first two months by a simple challan in FORM GST PMT-06. For the ease of taxpayers, system has assigned quarterly frequency to small taxpayers automatically.

Why have I been assigned quarterly filing without opting for the same

Taxpayers eligible for the simplified compliance scheme were assigned quarterly frequency by the GST system. All taxpayers were informed regarding the frequency assigned to them by e-mail and SMS.

Why have I been assigned quarterly frequency by system even when my aggregate turnover on PAN is greater than Rs. 5 crore

For the purpose of determining the eligibility for QRMP, the turnover was determined on the basis of the values declared by taxpayers in Table-3.1 of GSTR-3B (except inward supplies attracting reverse charge) for the Financial Year 2019-20. If a component of the turnover, like exempted or non-GST turnover, was not declared by a taxpayer in GSTR-3B or was declared in next financial year, then the turnover computed by the system for such taxpayers could be less than Rs. 5 crore. Such taxpayers may have been assigned to QRMP on the basis of values declared by them in GSTR-3B. Such taxpayers are advised to opt-out of scheme for quarter Apr-Jun’21 by 30th April 2021.

Why have I been assigned monthly frequency by system even when my aggregate turnover on PAN is upto Rs. 5 crore

At the time of assigning the frequency by the system, system considered the aggregate turnover of the taxpayer and the filing status of FORM GSTR-3B for the month of October 2020. If the said GSTR3B was not filed till 30th November 2020, the taxpayer were assigned to monthly frequency. The system allows the taxpayer to opt for QRMP scheme only if the last applicable return in FORM GSTR-3B, whose due date is over, is filed.

I want to opt-out of QRMP scheme and become monthly filer. Why the portal is not allowing me to do same for the quarter Jan-Mar, 2021

The last date to choose or change the filing frequency for the quarter of January to March 2021 was 31st January, 2021. After 31st January 2021, the filing frequency cannot be changed for the quarter January to March 2021. However, for the quarter of April to June 2021, taxpayers may change their filing frequency from quarterly to monthly from 1st February, 2021 to 30th April, 2021. It may be noted that profile selection is not a recurring requirement every quarter. Once a frequency has been opted for, it is applicable for all future periods unless changed further.

Quote Aadhar No. for Deposit / Withdrawal of Rs. 50,000 or more: India’s national biometric ID Aadhar Card number can now be quoted for cash transactions of more than Rs. 50,000 in place of PAN card number. Traditionally, any person who wants to make cash deposit / withdrawal of more than Rs. 50000 in banks was required to specify his PAN Card number. But as per the central govt’s new order, this cash deposit / withdrawal in banks can be done easily even when a person quote Aadhar number as govt. makes PAN-Aadhaar interchangeable.

FM Nirmala Sitharaman in budget of Modi 2.0 has allowed interchangeability of PAN and Aadhaar for ease of compliance of taxpayers. This move of allowing people to quote Aadhar for Cash transactions beyond Rs. 50k in place of PAN number is now applicable. It is also clear that PAN card is not going to be phased out and would not be replaced completely by Aadhar card.

Quote Aadhar Number Instead of PAN for Bank Deposit / Withdrawal over Rs. 50k

Now people can make cash deposit / withdrawal in banks with more than Rs. 50,000 amount of money using their Aadhaar number in place of Permanent Account Number (PAN). Banks and various other institutions are going to make backend upgrades to allow acceptance of Aadhar in places where quoting PAN was mandatory.

PAN-Aadhaar Interchangeability for Cash Transactions

Till date, there are 22 crore PAN cards which are linked to Aadhaar while there are around 120 crore aadhar card holders. If anybody wants PAN number, then he / she has to first use aadhaar, generate PAN and then start using it. However with Aadhaar, people would not be required to generate PAN which is of great convenience.

To curb black money, quoting of PAN is compulsory for cash transactions such as hotel or foreign travel bills exceeding Rs. 50,000. PAN card number is also mandatory for purchase of immovable property above Rs. 10 lakh. But there are instances where people quote wrong PAN number or obtain PAN card fraudulently. As Aadhaar number is backed by the biometric data of the citizens, so it is completely safe. People can now simply quote aadhar number to make bank deposit or withdrawal of an amount of Rs. 50000 or more instead of PAN number.

Whether PAN Card Would be Phased Out

The answer to this question “Whether PAN would be phased out” is “No” as some of the people are comfortable with PAN. People will have a choice to wither quote their PAN card number or can now quote Aadhar card number. Both PAN and Aadhaar will co-exist as some people prefers aadhar and some prefers PAN. But at the backnd, for every PAN there would be an Aadhar.

Quote Aadhar Instead of PAN for Fling IT Returns

Previously, finance minister has proposed to allow those who do not have PAN number to file income tax returns by simply quoting their Aadhaar number and also use it wherever they are required to quote PAN. Eligibility Criteria for Haryana Widow Pension Scheme

  • Women of Age more than 18 and permanent resident of Haryana for last 1 year at time of submission of application.
  • Annual income less than or equal to Rs. 2 Lakhs.
  • Any one of the three conditions are fulfilled:
    • She is a widow; or
    • She is destitute without husband, parents and son(s): or
    • She is destitute due to desertion or physical/mental incapacity of (a) Husband in case of married women; or (b) Parents in case of other women
  • Notwithstanding the above any person getting pension from any govt or local statutory body will not be eligible to receive allowance under the scheme.

Each of the widow women beneficiaries will get Rs. 2250 per month as pension under Haryana Widow Pension Scheme 2021. Earlier the Haryana Vidhwa Pension Yojana amount was Rs. 1800 which has now been increased.

RBI CMS App: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched a new Complaint Management System (CMS) Application on its official portal. Now people can lodge & file complaints online against Banks, non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) at cms.rbi.org.in. RBI Governor has launched CMS software application to facilitate its grievance redressal processes. Now general public can access the central govt’s CMS portal at RBI’s website to lodge their complaints against any of the entities regulated by RBI.

CMS Portal will be accessible on desktop as well as on mobile devices. RBI also plans to introduce a dedicated Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system for tracking the status of complaints. The launch of Complaint Management System (CMS) by RBI will improve customer experience in timely redressal of grievances.

CMS application will improve transparency by keeping the complainants informed through auto-generated acknowledgements. CMS would enable them to track the status of their complaints and file appeals online against the decisions of the Ombudsmen.

Objectives of Haryana Solar Inverter Charger Scheme 2021

The main objectives of Haryana Solar Inverter Charger Scheme 2021 are hereby defined:-

  • Farmers Welfare – The main aim of the scheme is to ensure better facilities to farmers. Through these solar inverter chargers, farmers will not have to depend on electricity for their inverter or operating pumps.
  • Subsidy to Farmers – Haryana govt. has decided to provide 40% subsidy to all the selected beneficiaries.
  • Power of Solar Inverter Charger – Farmers can apply only for solar inverter chargers of upto 300 to 500 W and their installation.
  • Subsidy Amount – Farmers who installs 300 W Solar inverter charger will get Rs. 6,000 subsidy and those who installs 500 W inverter chargers will get Rs. 10,000 subsidy.
  • Saving Environment – This scheme will reduce dependence of farmers on electricity. Solar energy is totally safe for environment as well as beneficial for farmers. Air pollution would be reduced.

  1. Address Proof – Only those farmers who are permanent resident of Haryana state would be eligible, so address proof must be produced.
  2. Professional Qualification – Only registered farmers would be able to apply online for solar inverter charger scheme.
  3. Identity Proof – Aadhar Card / Voter ID Card / Ration Card or any document must be produced to prove their identity.
  4. All Farmers – Every farmer in Haryana can apply for this scheme and there would be no discrimination on the basis of caste, colour, creed, religion.
  5. Bank Account Details – As the subsidy amount would be deposited directly into the bank accounts of the farmers, so it is necessary for farmers to furnish their bank account details. The state govt. will transfer subsidy amount through DBT mode.

Andhra Pradesh government has started AP YSR Sampoorna Poshan Plus Scheme 2021. In this scheme, the state govt. provides nutritious food to tribal pregnant women, new mothers and poor children. This Y.S.R Sampoorna Poshan Plus Scheme is being implemented in the 77 tribal mandals in the state. Another YSR Sampurna Poshana Scheme is also being implemented for remaining plain areas. The state govt. will spend around Rs. 1863 crore for both these schemes.

The 2 New Diet Schemes are covered through 55,607 Anganwadi Centers which covers around 30 lakh women. There are around 47,287 Anganwadi centers in plain areas from which around 27 lakh women and children would be covered. Around 1,555 crore would be exclusively spent for Anganwadi centers in plain areas. The remaining budget would be spared for 3 lakh women and infants in tribal areas.

YSR Sampoorna Poshan Plus Scheme 2021 Details

In this scheme, nutritious food is supplied to children and pregnant women, irrespective of their health profile. These new diet schemes will address underweight complication in children. Here are the important features of the new AP YSR Sampoorna Poshan Plus Scheme 2021:-

  • Around 3 lakh tribal women and children are covered through 8,320 anganwadi centres spread of 77 tribal mandals.
  • Pregnant women and infants b/w 6 months to 3 years are getting nutritious diet.
  • Eggs and milk are provided to children b/w 3 to 6 years of age.
  • AP govt. is spending Rs. 1100 per month to provide diet to a single pregnant women. The state govt. will also spend Rs. 553 p.m for diet to children in tribal areas.
  • A budget of Rs. 308 crore has been allocated for AP YSR Sampoorna Poshan Plus Scheme 2021 implementation.

As mentioned above for plain areas, YSR Sampoorna Poshana Scheme is implemented. This scheme is going to benefit 27 lakh women & children through 47,287 anganwadi centers with an allocation of Rs. 1,555 crore. In this scheme, AP govt. will spend Rs. 850 per month for pregnant women and new mother’s diet in plain areas, Rs. 350 for infants and Rs. 412 for children. Earlier, the diet schemes covered only those with anemic conditions but now new schemes will cover all the poor people.

How to Apply for AP YSR Sampoorna Poshana Plus Scheme

AP YSR Sampoorna Poshana Plus is a state implemented scheme. The Anganwadi workers will collect the data by enrolling all eligible women and children. The implementation of the program in ITDAs will be closely monitored by respective Project Officer, ITDA in coordination with the Project Director, District Women and Children Development Authority (DW&CDA). Here is the complete process of enrollment in the AP Sampurna Poshana Plus Scheme:-

  • Anganwadi workers shall take up thorough survey of Anganwadi Centre (AWC) catchment area to enroll all eligible children and women in the program. Special efforts will be made to ensure unreached, most deserving populations in hill top, hard to reach locations, inaccessible areas.
  • All the children (6 months to 6 years), pregnant women, lactating mothers shall be registered in the AP Sampoorna Poshan Plus Scheme. Their names and details shall be registered in Common Application Software (CAS) to monitor service delivery.
  • Date of birth and gender at the time of registration in AWC and monthly height, weight records of children shall be entered correctly in CAS.
  • Weighing scales shall be calibrated regularly, height scales, adult, children weighing scales shall be in working condition at all Anganwadi centers.
  • Growth monitoring (height and weight) of every child will be done at Anganwadi centre every month.
  • Anganwadi worker-ASHA-ANM shall coordinate to ensure medical examination of all SUW/ SAM/ MAM children by the Medical Officers (MOs), PHC for detecting any underlying causes for malnutrition; for detecting medical complications or illnesses; for prescribing treatment, and dispensing medicines like antibiotics, iron/folic acid/calcium/vitamin/zinc supplementation and deworming medicines wherever necessary; and for referral to Nutritional Rehabilitation Centre/ hospital/ appropriate facilities or specialists wherever necessary. The AWW/Supervisor to furnish the list of SUM/SAM/MAM children to ASHA/ ANM/ MO (PHC).
  • Children discharged from NRC shall be monitored at home, their parents/family members shall be educated to ensure appropriate feeding, clean surroundings, personal hygiene, sanitation and clean, safe drinking water. Children identified as Severely Under Weight (SUW), SAM, MAM shall be monitored for weight on weekly basis.
  • Weight of pregnant women shall be monitored every month at Anganwadi centre and recorded in CAS.
  • Anganwadi worker-ASHA-ANM shall coordinate to ensure Ante-natal checkups, providing IFA tablets, administering De-worming to pregnant women and lactating mothers as per the protocol.
  • Anganwadi workers, Supervisors and CDPOs shall undertake home visits, educate and counsel the beneficiaries on nutrition and health care behaviors including Infant Young Child Feeding (IYCF) practices.
  • Pregnant women, lactating mothers shall be educated to utilize protein, energy based take home ration provided without distributing among family members.

Community Based Events (CB Events) shall be organized at Anganwadi Centre as per the POSHAN Abhiyaan guidelines, to sensitize and create awareness among pregnant women and mothers of children up to 2 years of age and their key influencers on key health, nutrition and child care practices in order to strengthen positive practices related to survival, growth and development of children.

LPG Gas Cylinder New Prices February 2021 have been released by the central government. The prices for 14.2 Kg non subsidized cylinders & rates of 19 Kg non-subsidy cylinders have been increased. People can now check the LPG Gas Cylinder New Prices (14.2 kg / 19 Kg cylinder rates) in top metro cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai & in other cities. These new LPG cylinder rates would remain applicable for the entire month of February 2021 starting from today onward.

People can check both the subsidized and non-subsidized domestic gas cylinder rates to know the total amount which customer will have to pay to buy cylinder in February 2021 month. Moreover, people can also calculate the subsidy amount to be transferred into their bank accounts by the government.

The prices of both the subsidized and non-subsidized LPG gas cylinders are revised by oil marketing companies (OMCs) on 1st date of each month. Central govt. only provides subsidy on the first 12 gas cylinders to every household in 1 year under the direct benefit transfer (DBT) scheme. All the additional purchases for LPG gas cylinders will have to be made at market rates.
