This Padhai Tunhar Duar (Education To Your Doorstep) portal is started for class 1st to 10th. Students / Teachers can now apply online by filling CG Padhai Tunhar Dwar student registration form at the official website. In the Coronavirus lockdown, online study is the only option for students to pursue their studies along with tackling COVID-19 pandemic.

Application Fees

There is no application form filling fee and there is no requirement to pay any fees while applying online for new ration card in Haryana. However, applicants can collect their ration cards from the concerned authorities on making a payment of Rs. 5 per copy.

Timelines for Issuing Ration Card in Haryana

igot.gov.in – Integrated Govt. Online Training (iGOT) E-Platform to Train Covid Warriors

Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) of Central government has launched Integrated Govt. Online Training portal at igot.gov.in. This iGOT online learning e-platform will train doctors, nurses, paramedics, govt. officers, police officers etc. to combat COVID-19. By giving COVID-19 training to other potential second line workforce, India will be better prepared for the emergent situations.

The online iGOT learning resource is expected to equip all front-line workers with training and updates in coping the Coronavirus pandemic. Appropriate training will also prepare them for subsequent stages of pandemic.

Indian govt. has launched training module named iGOT portal on MHRD Diksha Platform for capacity building of frontline workers to handle COVID-19 pandemic efficiently.

Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY) Pension plan provides immediate pension for senior citizens of 60 years and above. LIC Plan 842 can be purchased by paying a lumpsum amount. PM Vaya Vandana Yojana plan provides for pension payments of stated amount for the policy term of 10 years. PMVVY Scheme envisages an assured rate of return of 8% per annum. Aadhaar Card Mandatory for PMVVY Benefits

An individual eligible for receiving the benefit under PM Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY scheme) shall hereby be required to furnish proof of possession of Aadhaar number. As per the Finance Ministry notification, applicant must possess the unique 12-digit biometric identity number or undergo Aadhaar authentication. In case aadhar card is not available, applicant must enroll for Aadhaar number first before making PMVVY registration.

In cases where Aadhaar authentication fails due to poor biometrics, then Dept. of Financial Services through its implementing agency would make provisions to help beneficiaries get the Aadhaar number. Further, where biometric or Aadhaar one-time password or time-based OTP authentication is not possible, benefit under the scheme may be given on the basis of physical Aadhaar letter whose authenticity may be verified through the quick response (QR) code printed on the Aadhaar letter. In the Budget 2018-19, the maximum limit under PMVVY was doubled to Rs 15 lakh per senior citizen. PMVVY scheme is available for subscription till March 2020.

Does PMVVY Pension Scheme Gives Tax Benefit

PMVVY pension scheme for senior citizens is not a tax saving scheme but an investment plan to fund their retirement. All the elderly people above 60 years were allowed to invest a max. amount of Rs. 15 lakh on or before 31 March 2020. For the policy term of 10 years, senior citizens can get a minimum pension of Rs 1,000 per month and a maximum pension of Rs 10,000 per month depending on the amount invested.

Will you get tax savings benefit under section 80C?
Returns from this scheme will be taxed as per existing tax laws and the rate of tax as applicable from time to time. The scheme is exempted from Goods and Services Tax (GST). All general insurance scheme includes 18 percent GST such as term insurance. However, to give a relief to senior citizens, there are a few LIC schemes including Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana scheme, which continues to be exempted under GST as they were exempted from service tax before July 1, 2017.

This PMVVY scheme will not allow investor to claim a deduction for investments up to Rs. 1.5 lakh under section 80C of the Income Tax Act. This scheme is not an eligible investment under this section of the Income Tax Act. However, a representation can be filed before IT dept. to include the sum paid under PMVVY scheme as an eligible deduction under section 80C of Income Tax Act to bring this scheme on par with Senior Citizens Saving Scheme. The inclusion however, will require legislative amendment which can be made in the subsequent budgets.

Other key highlights

Free Look period: If any senior citizen is not satisfied with the “Terms and Conditions” of the policy, then they may return the policy to the LIC within 15 days (30 days if the policy is purchased online) from the date of receipt of the policy stating the reason of objections. The refund amount you get will be the purchase price after deducting the stamp duty charges and pension paid if any.

Loan: After the completion of 3 years, senior citizens can avail the loan facility. You can avail a maximum loan amount equal to 75% of the purchase price.

Surrender Value: Under exceptional circumstances, where the pensioner requires money for the treatment of any critical illness of self or spouse, they can get 98% of purchase price as surrender value.

Suicide: There is no exclusion in case of suicide. In such a case, the full purchase price will be payable to the beneficiary.

Central government is now inviting online application forms for Hospital Empanelment under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. The formal express process to empanel hospitals through registration has now begun for all private hospitals to tackle COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Any hospitals can fill the Hospital Empanelment Online Application Form for enrollment under Prime Minister Rashtriya Swasthya Suraksha Mission (PMRSSM) at pmjay.gov.in

Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) will provide health protection to 10.74 crore poor & deprived rural families. Under this Modicare scheme, govt. will provide cashless and paperless benefits of upto Rs. 5 lakh to poor people in any government / private empanelled hospital with no restriction on age, family size and gender.

Check Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana Hospitals List to find Ayushman Bharat empanelled hospitals. There is no pre-condition for treatment and people can get health benefits only through a single prescribed ID. Govt. wants that if “Illness does not consider any economic background then neither should the cure.

The new National Health protection Scheme will ensure the following benefits to the beneficiaries:-

    NHA Express Private Hospital Empanelment under Ayushman Bharat Yojana

    National Health Authority (NHA) launches express empanelment to bring large number of private hospitals under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY). This empanellment of private hospitals will ensure continued essential treatment for serious illnesses like cancer and heart ailments. This decision is taken after recent one of bringing testing and treatment of COVID-19 under AB-PMJAY scheme. The treatment of Coronavirus would be carried out as per protocols and guidelines of ICMR.

    In the current Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, several medical colleges, civil hospitals and district hospitals are being converted as dedicated COVID-19 facilities. So Hospital Empanelment Module (HEM) Lite is launched for patients suffering from serious illnesses, such as cancer, cardiac issues and diabetes. All such patients requires continuous treatment and will be able to continue getting inpatient services without the fear of contracting the COVID-19 infection.

    This express private hospital empanelment under Ayushman Bharat Yojana mechanism will help in empaneling dedicated COVID-19 hospitals as well. Hospitals can empanel themselves for a temporary period of 3 months through a simpler, user friendly online system available on the scheme website www.pmjay.gov.in.

    Treatment For Serious Illnesses in Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY

    In order to ensure treatment of AB-PMJAY patients doesn’t suffer as many currently empaneled hospitals are converting themselves to dedicated COVID-19-only facilities. To increase our capacity to serve beneficiaries of PMJAY Scheme, the central govt. has started express empanelment of private hospitals on a temporary basis. Govt. is reaching out to states, hospital associations and healthcare industry bodies with this new proposal. The new mechanism will onboard private hospitals through a simple, quick and seamless system on a temporary basis.

    All such hospitals have the choice whether to provide regular treatment for serious illnesses such as cancer and cardiac illnesses under the scheme. Moreover, these hospitals can even convert themselves into COVID-19 only hospitals providing dedicated testing and treatment to COVID-19 patients.

    Using the HEM Lite, will take less than 1 hour for a hospital to fill the application form along with documents. Hospital Empanelment Management (HEM) is built in a way to ensure that the process of approval by concerned authorities is expeditious. For your easy reference, an empanelment guidebook has also been provided. In case hospitals get stuck anywhere, they can call the NHA representative for prompt response and extend full support on submission of the form.

    The scheme covers more than 1500 health benefit packages of procedures pertaining to secondary and tertiary care and hospitals are reimbursed at pre-fixed rates. The package prices are revised periodically and new rates were launched last year. Over and above listed price, there is further incentive available to hospitals up to 39 per cent (cumulative) for NABH entry level/full accreditation, geographical location (metro/aspirational districts) and for running PG courses.

    As on date more than 8,804 private hospitals are empaneled under AB PM-JAY across the country and account for 51% of all treatments (96 lakh hospitalisations) and 64% of the hospital admissions amount (Rs 13,000 crore). The claim money is transferred within 15 days from date of submission of documents by hospital and there is a robust system for grievance redressal.

    PM Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana 2020-21 – Free Food Without Ration Card / ID Proof

    The central govt. is going to revise guidelines for Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana 2020-21. In the new form, central govt. may remove requirement of ration card or ID to avail food items under PM Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana. This new free food distribution scheme will work without any RC or ID necessity to increase its coverage. The central government is already in the process of releasing 12 million MT of food grains during April to June 2020.

    As announced in the PM Garib Kalyan Yojana Package, govt. will provide food to 80 crore people at 5 kg per head per month absolutely free of cost. Moreover, around 2 crore beneficiaries have already availed benefits of free ration scheme. Free Food For All Scheme is a necessity with the likelihood of Coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown extended beyond 14 April 2020.

    The free food distribution scheme will ensure adequate food supply to migrant labourers, daily wagers and urban poor who do not have required ration with them.

    PM Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana 2020-21 without Ration Card / ID Proof

    As per the recommendations from empowered groups and senior officials of govt., ration card and other ID requirements are to be removed. This will enlarge access to food under PM Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana 2020-21 which is a flagship scheme of Modi government. The govt. may then distribute free food to anyone who needs it during COVID-19 lockdown and until normalcy resumes. In the Rs. 1.70 lakh crore PM Garib Kalyan Yojana package, providing free food items to people was sought as an urgent requirement.

    The Prime Minister’s Office is currently examining this recommendation of removal of ration card and ID proof requirement during free food distribution. It is necessary because many workers in unorganized sector are still not within the public distribution system (PDS) network. Moreover, it may be possible that daily wage workers in other states may have left their ration card back at their home for their families to use. They rely on daily earnings to survive and are now quite helpless.

    It is a suggestion that the central govt. ask all state govt’s to distribute free food items and grains to people without ID card / ration card. This step must be taken and implemented at the earliest keeping in view the unprecedented situation we are in. It is also advised that dry food ration should be simply distributed to whoever needs it without insisting on ration card. The

    PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana in PMGKY Package

    The advise of doing away of ID requirement in PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will ensure that no one goes without food. The central govt. has enough food stocks in the godowns of Food Corporation of India, so this decision can be taken easily. As per the announcement in PMGKY package of Rs. 1.7 lakh crore, the following are the features of this scheme:-

    • Around 80 crore people would be benefited.
    • All poor people including daily wagers, migrant labourers, urban poor etc would be provided with free ration.
    • For next 3 months, each family will get 5 kg wheat / rice (ration) & 1 kg pulses per month.
    • The procurement is to be done through nearest public distribution centres or fair price shops.

    It is felt that central govt. can push states to do away with paperwork requirements at-least temporarily. However, access to this free food requires showing the relevant ration card at the fair-price shops or public distribution centre stores. Delhi govt. has already removed the ration card requirement for availing food items but other states are yet to follow.

    Some states have announced transfer of funds directly into accounts of ration card holders. A recent study by the International Food Policy Research Institute on how India’s food safety net is responding to Covid-19 also pointed to this issue. The study observes that PDS coverage in urban areas is low at about 50% leaving out many urban poor. This suggests the need to “expand the list of eligible households” at least for now.

    PM Awas Yojana Urban Services

    Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) will ensure housing for all in urban areas which was launched on 25 June 2015 to implement 2015-2022. Under this scheme, govt. will provide houses to all eligible families / beneficiaries against demand of 1.12 crore houses. Size of house for economically weaker section (EWS) category is 30 sq.mt carpet area. PMAY has made a mandatory provision for the female head of the family to be the owner or co-owner of the dwelling unit. PM Awas Yojana Urban services includes 4 components:-

    1. In-situ Slum Redevelopment (ISSR) – Under ISSR, central assistance of Rs. 1 lakh per house is admissible for all houses built for eligible slum dwellers. This component will use land as resource with participation of private developers. The slum rehabilitation grants can be utilized by states / UTs for any of slum redevelopment projects. After redevelopment, de-notification of slums by state / UT govt. is recommended under guidelines.
    2. Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) – Under this component, interest subsidy upto Rs. 2.67 lakh is admissible for beneficiaries of EWS / LIG / MIG – 1 and MIG -2 category. People who seeks housing loans from banks, housing finance companies and other institutions to acquire / construct houses are eligible. Subsidy of 6.5%, 4% and 3% on loan amount upto Rs. 6 lakh, 9 lakh and 12 lakh is applicable for carpet area upto 60, 160 and 200 sq.mt for EWS / LIG, MIG I, MIG II respectively.
    3. Affordable Housing in Partnership (AHP) – Central assistance of Rs. 1.5 lakh per EWS house is provided where at-least 35% of houses in projects are for EWS category and single project has at-least 250 houses.
    4. Beneficiary Led Individual House Construction / Enhancements (BLC) – Under this component, central assistance of Rs.1.5 lakh is available to individual eligible families belonging to EWS categories.

    Madhya Pradesh government is inviting online applications for MP E-Uparjan Rabi Crops 2020-21 at mpeuparjan.nic.in. Now all the farmers who wants to sell their agricultural produce of rabi season i.e wheat (gehu) at minimum support price (MSP) to the govt. can apply online. For this purpose, they have to make MP E-Uparjan Rabi 2020-21 Farmers Registration Online at the official website through kisan code.     The start date for rabi uparjan in the state of MP is 15 April 2020. MP govt. requests farmers that only at the date specified in the SMS, farmers should take their crops at the procurement centres. Farmers of Bhopal, Indore, and Ujjain districts will not be allowed for crops selling from start date as these are currently hotspots of Coronavirus (COVID-19) spread.
